When we allow ball, homework, and hobbies to constantly take priority over the church when our kids are young, then we can’t be surprised when they allow other things to still take priority over the church when they’re older.
David Allen's 2-minute rule:
If you've got a task that takes less than 2 minutes, don't postpone it or put it on your to-do list.
Do it now.

When we express gratitude, our brain releases dopamine and serotonin — two hormones that make us feel lighter and happier inside. https://t.co/YRHfo3qJP2
While ministering to many young folks over the years, never once has one said, “I wish I would’ve done more sports & hobbies as a kid.”
However, 1000s have said, “I wish my parents would’ve helped me be more serious about my faith!”
May our kids never regret what we prioritize.
Be thankful for church buildings that are a little too loud because they’re filled with the noise of young people.
Because, the silence in a church building from a lack of young people is deafening.
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:31 NLT
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord? Who can ever praise him enough?”
Psalms 106:1-2 NLT
HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🙏
Being essentially grateful is a great foundation to build your Christian life on.
There’s always more to accomplish, goals to achieve, improvements to make. But good fruit grows better from a thankful, praising heart than a discontented, striving soul.
A sure sign of spiritual decline is when we find ourselves wanting to get away from godly people.
If you are really walking with the Lord, you will want to be around godly people. And if you don’t want to be around godly people, it indicates that something is wrong in your life.
As a parent who lost one of my children to gun violence, I beg you to pray for the grieving parents of Uvalde.
You'll quickly forget this horror and move on, but they will have to carry this grief the rest of their lives.
Don't forget them.
Praying this prayer and declaration over friends today :
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 CSB
Jesus didn’t come looking for impressive people but turned failures into grateful, devoted followers who only wanted to glorify him & celebrate him, indifferent to how impressive they might be.
