Lithium battery explosions are insane and we’re lucky this hasn’t taken down a plane yet…

In the last year, two people I know have lost their homes to lithium battery explosions.

One from a pool robot that exploded in the back yard.

The other from an e-bike battery that exploded in the garage.

These things don’t burn like wood or paper.

Once a lithium-ion cell hits thermal runaway it can spike past 1,000°C (1800°F) in seconds, vent flammable gases, and keep reigniting long after the flames look gone.

Regular extinguishers don’t work!

You need sustained cooling (usually lots of water) or the heat just jumps to the next cell.

FAA already logged 90+ verified smoke/fire/heat incidents on planes in 2025.

Power banks are the top offender now.

We’re stuffing hundreds of these high-energy cells into every cabin, every apartment, every backpack… and acting surprised when one decides to cook.

These are everywhere. It’s only a matter of time before something really bad happens!

Governments no longer need to pressure Apple for a backdoor. OpenAI just built one for them.

Every text you send them can end up on OpenAI’s servers, available to intelligence agencies and law enforcement through US legal process, and to other governments who can demand access through treaties and cross border agreements.

Facebook Messenger is now safer than iMessage. @OpenAI just killed end to end encryption for Apple.

Alibaba's AliExpress was caught using users' audio systems to track them.

AliExpress wasn't recording users but instead playing a silent sound and measuring how users' specific devices processed it in order to fingerprint them.

But don't worry because Brave stops this.

As a seller on Amazon and have been for many years I’ve learned a few things when buying. Go directly to the “sold by” and see the company. If it’s in China you will know who the seller is. The FBA the garbage to Amazon, hence the “fulfilled by Amazon”. The Chinese sellers DO NOT go through the same scrutiny as us US sellers.

Best thing that could happen is him getting away from that person. Once the Internet finds out who this woman is and the actual employer of this woman sees this video, there might be some changes coming to her position. This is pure power tripping and quite honestly she had it out for him from the get-go. She probably knew whenever he left and then tried to fake call him and to set him up to get him to quit.

I’m not so certain she did it. There’s a reason this case is getting attention and it’s not just because of her “mental illness”. It’s because something isn’t adding up. That timeline is a bit sus. When this manufactured distraction is done, there’s another court case to take its place: Chauvin

@Polymarket I would think it’s the other way around. Charge them less for a product in exchange for their data through surveillance that they sell off to make up the difference and profit.
