The Kuki community expresses deep concern over reports and allegations regarding the activities of NSCN-IM, NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army, and Junta Military elements in parts of Manipur, including Kangpokpi, Ukhrul, Kamjong, and Senapati districts.
There are concerns within the community regarding incidents affecting Kuki villages and civilians, including allegations of attacks, displacement, destruction of property, and disruption of essential supplies. The continued difficulties faced by civilians due to restrictions affecting the movement of food, medicines, fuel, and other necessities have further heightened these concerns.
The community calls upon the Government of India, security agencies, and all concerned authorities to conduct a transparent, impartial, and thorough investigation into these allegations and to ensure accountability for any violations of law that may have occurred.
The people of Kangpokpi District also urge the authorities to address the hardships caused by disruptions along the route between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District and to ensure the safe movement of essential commodities for all civilians.
The Kuki community seeks justice, security, equal treatment, and the protection of all civilians under the rule of law.

Why NSCN(IM) still holds power and threatens regional security
From sanctuaries in Myanmar to log routes through Bangladesh, the NSCN(IM) maintains strategic depth across borders #Nagaland#Manipur#EndSmuggling#StopViolence

#Manipur must now rise above allegations of bias and selective action. The law should be applied equally to everyone, enforcement must appear impartial, and every community must get justice this is the most important step toward restoring trust and ensuring lasting peace. #KUKi

Message to Modi: Manipur’s Peace Lies in Political Solutions, Not in Security Operations
Three years on, Manipur remains fractured despite relentless security operations. With over 240 dead and 40,000 displaced, force has failed to address demands for land, identity, and autonomy. Raids deepen distrust while root causes persist. The Modi government must shift from patrols to politics — structured dialogue, justice for victims, and constitutional safeguards for Kukis, Meiteis, and Nagas. Lasting peace requires a settlement, not more checkpoints.

The Kuki Community strongly condemns what it perceives as the continued targeting of Kuki civilians and villages during security operations while concerns regarding the activities of NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army, and Junta Military elements remain unaddressed.
The people of Kangpokpi District continue to face serious hardships due to disruptions in the supply of food, rice, medicines, water, and other essential commodities. We therefore urge the Government of India, security agencies, and concerned authorities to immediately ensure the free movement of essential supplies and reopen the National Highway between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District.
The Kuki Community calls for impartial and equal enforcement of the law and urges authorities to address all security concerns fairly and without discrimination. Any allegations of misconduct, bias, or support for armed groups should be independently and transparently investigated by the competent authorities.
Equal Treatment. Equal Justice. Equal Peace.

The Kuki Community strongly condemns the actions of the COBRA Team and Central Forces and questions the manner in which Kuki civilians were treated while peacefully protesting against what they perceive as the targeting of Kuki village volunteers guarding their ancestral lands in Kangpokpi District, particularly around Kharam Vaiphei village, from NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army, and Junta Military elements.
At the same time, NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army, and Junta Military elements are alleged to be operating through Ukhrul District, Kamjong District, and Senapati District, yet no comparable action has been taken against them.
Despite the continued economic blockade along the National Highway between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District, where essential commodities such as food, rice, medicines, and other supplies remain severely affected, the Kuki Community questions why the highway remains closed while armed groups are allegedly allowed to move freely.
The Kuki Community further alleges that innocent Kuki civilians, including pastors, have been attacked and killed in Kangpokpi District, Ukhrul District, and Kamjong District. Yet, according to community concerns, no effective action has been taken against the perpetrators.
If the COBRA Team and Central Forces are truly neutral, they must immediately ensure the reopening of the National Highway between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District and demonstrate equal enforcement of law and order for all communities.
Until the National Highway between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District is reopened, many within the Kuki Community will continue to question whether the COBRA Team and Central Forces are acting impartially toward Kuki ancestral villages.
