As we speak, an educational assessment infrastructure is driving thousands of students into clinical anxiety, depression and even suicide. If this was an online platform, there'd be an outcry.

@sbuckshum Universities are complicit in maintaining assessment regimes. We need a joint Uni & School approach using a capability-based assessment framework that spans both levels and supports unique individual performances and contexts without conflation. We know AI + software can do this.

@DVCEdDeakin @Jisc Good lectures/TED talks r amazing. I used to lecture 45mins on visual semiotics then found a YouTube, Academic from US nailed it in 15 minutes. Students loved it with extra 30 mins interacting/debating the issues. A well edited recording of that interaction wouldโve been awesome.
