WNBA🏀 Lock #1 (June 1st)
Alyssa Thomas OVER 14.5 Points
(-150 FD)
❤️ THIS POST FOR ANOTHER PLAY
She’s cleared this line in 78% of her games this season and continues to be one of the most important pieces of Phoenix’s offense. Outside of Kahleah Copper, Thomas has been one of the highest-volume scorers on the team, and Phoenix relies heavily on her production every night.
She’s averaging 17 points per game, 35 minutes per game, and around 11 field goal attempts, with that volume increasing to 14 shots in her last outing.
Minnesota is a tough defensive matchup, and this should be a physical, hard-fought game. But Thomas has consistently found ways to score through contact and get to her spots.
The Mercury need her offense to compete in games like this, and her workload is simply too large to ignore. With her minutes, shot volume, and season-long consistency, I like Thomas to get over this number despite the difficult matchup.
