@rwac48 May we leave a free, just and safe India for the coming generations. May we provide an environment of love to nurture and take them to their full potential. It is our responsibility to ensure this environment
My father gets a call from a fraudster pretending to be a Blue Dart delivery guy.
The guy names some client or references some real documents, so my father thinks it is genuine.
He asks my father to press some number with * and # on his Android phone.
My father starts typing and then midway realises that this is shady. So he cuts the call, blocks the number and calls to tell me what happened.
My instinct tells me that it was an attempt to activate call forwarding or some such, so that the fraudsters can get access to OTPs to execute a transaction. (Or it could be something else? So I need to call Jio and find out if any activity has been done on that number.)
I call @JioCare customer support in panic.
And then…
I’m just talking to an automated machine for the next ONE HOUR.
There is no way to get in touch with a human.
If you think I’m making it up, you can try it yourself.
I tweet to them. I DM them. It’s been over 10 hours and I still don’t have any reply from anyone at Jio.
Now think about this.
It’s a game of seconds and minutes.
That is how much fraudsters need when they have access to your information. It’s all about executing that one transaction.
You can lose lakhs of rupees in an instant. I know this because it has happened to people around me.
And in that moment, I couldn’t reach Jio for hours.
If I lose money through a financial fraud, will @reliancejio pay for it?
What is the point of “Customer Support” when there’s simply no support available when you need it?
Nothing has happened so far (thank god), but I know for sure that there’s zero trust I have in Jio to help me in an urgency.
Our systems and processes are simply not ready or prepared to handle such issues. Neither on the telecom side, nor on the police or cyber crime side. You will be on your own.
If you have parents or elders at home, please do tell them about frauds like these, and please please activate 2FA on their mail and banking accounts. It may seem like one needless extra step but it could prove priceless in a moment like this.
The Delhi High Court just ruled against Google in a trademark case that every Indian founder needs to know about!!
Hindware sued because searches for "Hindware" returned competitor ads - Cera, Grohe, above their own listing. Customers looking specifically for Hindware were being intercepted at the moment of highest intent.
The court ruled it trademark infringement. Competitor keyword bidding on your brand name is now legally actionable in India.
Search your brand name on Google right now.
If a competitor's ad appears before yours, you have a case, and your competitor has a problem.
This reshapes performance marketing in India. Keyword bidding on competitor names is standard practice across every category - beauty, fintech, edtech, D2C.
The brands doing it most aggressively are also the ones most exposed to this ruling. Let's see how this pans out.
How is this acceptable, @airindia ?
Two of us booked a direct flight from Delhi to Singapore scheduled for 3rd May at 00:40 AM. The tickets were booked nearly two months in advance.
Today, immediately after completing web check-in, we received a message stating that the flight has been rescheduled to 4th May and is no longer a direct flight.
When we contacted customer support, we were given only two options: either travel on 4th May (arriving at 18:30) or cancel and book afresh.
If we travel on 4th May, we will miss our important bookings. If we cancel and book afresh, we will have to pay nearly four times the original fare.
What makes this even more frustrating is that we can still see the same flight, along with other options around the same time, available on @makemytrip. However, we were told these cannot be offered to us because they fall under premium economy.
This leaves us in an extremely difficult position. We have a clear requirement to reach Singapore on 3rd May – how exactly are we supposed to manage under these circumstances?

A cautionary tale about @urbancompany_uc and how a publicly listed company handles damage claims.
Booked their technician (Sanju Kumar) to install a Luminous inverter at my home in Bangalore. Routine job. Should've been 2 hours.
Invoice no: UCIC260004101947
Complaint no: 69f362690db9530026fe28d7
Instead of a standard install, he opened the main switchboard and worked with MAINS LIVE violating the most basic electrical safety rule. Phase-neutral cross-connection caused a ~280V surge through my home wiring.
Within minutes:
• Geyser circuit dead - Approximation given is around 12,000 to fix
• 55" Smart TV motherboard fried, panel and screen damaged - looking at full loss ( Rs 48,000)
• Apple TV completely destroyed (₹14,900 replacement)
• Home electrical wiring compromised (Assessing currently)
The moment Sanju Kumar realized he'd damaged the geyser, he packed up and LEFT mid-job. Inverter still uninstalled. No fix. No apology. No accountability.
Had to hire a different electrician the next day to fix the wiring he broke out of my own pocket.
Filed formal complaint with UC. Specifically requested a SENIOR technician for independent damage assessment.
UC's response? They sent SANJU KUMAR BACK. The same person who caused the damage. To "take photos" of his own work and walk away.
He showed up, photographed the damage he caused, left without resolution. No claims process opened. No callback.
When we asked UC for a complaint ID, it took multiple follow-ups and a manual download of a tax invoice to extract any documentation. They were not proactive in issuing one almost as if to avoid creating a paper trail.
3 sleepless nights. ₹40,000+ in documented damages. Complete radio silence from UC corporate after that.
@urbancompany_uc@abhirajbhal@raghavchandra@varunkhaitan — your company is publicly listed now. Retail and institutional shareholders are watching how customer grievances are handled.
Is THIS the customer experience model investors signed up for?
1. Technician violates basic electrical safety
2. Damages multiple appliances and home wiring
3. Walks off mid-job when he realizes his mistake
4. Same technician sent back to "investigate" his own damage
5. Customer chases for documentation that should've been auto-generated
6. Then gets ghosted
Listed companies are held to a higher standard of corporate governance, customer protection, and grievance redressal. SEBI compliance and investor disclosures aren't just about quarterly numbers they extend to how the brand treats its customers.
This isn't how a publicly listed company should operate.
Asking for:
1. Independent senior technician (not Sanju Kumar) to assess damage
2. Compensation for documented damages: ₹90,000+
3. Formal acknowledgment of complaint 69f362690db9530026fe28d7
4. Process review — no customer should have to extract their own complaint ID
5. Public clarification on UC's damage claims SOP
Have all invoices, technician's diagnosis report confirming overvoltage cause, photos, timestamps, and WhatsApp records.
please be careful. If a clearly documented case is handled this way, imagine the cases without paper trails.
Consumer forum filing prepared if there's no response in 48 hours.
Mahindra, as usual you don’t respond. I’ve also heard that you’re planning to take me to court for a defamation case that’s absolutely fine, you’re welcome. But this time, you need to answer this.
What could be a bigger scam than selling cars that have already been in accidents, repairing them, and then passing them off as brand new to customers? How can a company operate at such a level? Your dealerships seem completely careless and fearless.
Imagine the heartbreak of a customer who buys a “new” car, only to later discover it was already accidental. I will be sharing the owner’s details soon and I expect immediate action: deliver a genuinely new car and take strict action against the showroom and dealer involved.
And for customers always make sure you are physically present during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). Never skip it. Unfortunately, many people still don’t even know what PDI is, and that’s where the problem begins! 🙏🏻

The lady mistake was that she didn't bought text book from school. The sunbeam school's principle lost her cool and insulted parents.
The principal name is Mamta Mishra. They are not running school, it's a commercial shop
Sir,
@CPMumbaiPolice
I am extremely upset at the way the BJP protest was permitted. What were the police doing? Is this how citizens deserve to be harassed?
The lady in the video was trying to ask questions to the officers, they didn’t even look at her? I demand that ask those officers be issued a show cause notice immediately and FIR be registered on the netas of BJP for blocking traffic.
When we do andolan, we were told that we can do it only in Azad Maidan then how and why was BJP allowed?
Where were the traffic police?
You have to answer
A woman is allegedly seen losing her cool on Maharashtra cabinet minister Girish Mahajan, over the traffic snarl caused by the BJP morcha in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. This was during a protest march on the issue of the Women's Reservation Bill. She was heard asking the minister to protest on a ground, and not hold up the traffic by marching on the streets. The opposition hit out at the BJP while appreciating the woman.

Video: Special Arrangement
Today I am posting four videos of a brave, courageous, common Indian woman who has gone viral across India.
Why?
Because she did what most of us feel… but rarely say.
A political rally blocked the roads for hours. Commuters were stuck. Chaos everywhere. And this woman? She just wanted to pick up her child from school.
But when patience ran out, she stepped forward.
She questioned the system. She questioned politicians. She questioned the police.
And she asked the most powerful question:
“Who are you to block these roads? Just get out and clear them.”
No slogans. No politics. Just a citizen demanding accountability. We need this courage. We need more voices like hers.Because democracy doesn’t just survive on votes , it survives on citizens who dare to ask questions.

I would really want people from north India, the shrill voices of meritocracy, comment on this:
If meritocracy is all about rewarding individuals for performance, why shouldn’t we reward states the same way?
Linking delimitation to GDP would change the game for India. Political power would follow economic contribution. States would compete to grow, create jobs, and govern better and not just get rewarded for its population growth.
The current system risks penalising performing states and rewarding demographic expansion which isn’t sustainable.
India needs representation that rewards contribution.
❗️Breaking: Just saw a copy👇🏽of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026, to be introduced in the parliament in the special session this week. It’s worse than what everyone feared - it opens the floodgates for complete reallocation of seats for states and for gerrymandering.
➡️ As expected, in the name of advancing women’s representation, it is basically a move to facilitate early delimitation and to expand the size of Lok Sabha to 815.
➡️ But, contrary to the assurance of the PM and ministers, there is nothing in this bill to ensure that the present proportion of seats for each state would be maintained. It lifts the existing freeze (based on 1971 census, extended to post 2026) completely without any safeguard the government was promising.
➡️ Worse, the decision about which Census would be the basis for reallocation is taken away from the constitution and placed in the domain of law (ie, simple parliamentary majority).
➡️ Actual reallocation and determination of boundaries would be done by the Delimitation Commission, on which the constitution is silent. And this cannot be challenged in a court of law.
