@RachelJoStewart A guy I used to work with came out as trans about 4 months after starting his job. No-one misgendered or dead named him and the workforce was mostly Conservative leaning boomers at the time. This was nearly 20 years ago, why is it suddenly so hard for people.

@KatyMontgomerie I know it's not the point of the post per se, but you can have a pet owl. My friends dad kept two barn owls in an aviary in their back garden.
