"People ask me all the time: how do I overcome #ImposterSyndrome? And honestly, I’m done answering that question. Because here’s the thing: imposter syndrome isn’t a syndrome at all — it’s a scheme." Fantastic speech #ReshmaSaujani https://t.co/i6kUZLB1fK
In health & care, we often focus on a narrow concept of improving "staff experience", when we could be building a much deeper & more profound basis of human connection at work: a sense of belonging. Belonging is when an employee, regardless of their background or role, knows that their voice matters, that their unique experiences enrich the team & that they're not just seen, but understood. Organisations that build a sense of belonging have higher levels of engagement, retention & performance: https://t.co/DNGs6moS0B By @hacking_hr
The psychological safety hierarchy of needs at work by @heidipsychology. I appreciate how Heidi has created three categories. At the base are basic safety needs like not being micromanaged. Next is psychological needs like belonging & sense of esteem. At the top is self-fulfilment needs, the ability to be our true, authentic selves. People who work at the top of their pyramid are the ones with the potential to deliver the best performance.

Light will always triumph over darkness, hope will always triumph over fear, and friendship will always triumph over enmity.
Happy #Diwali to everyone in London and all over the world.
