Se c’è una cosa che mi rattrista di #TicketToHeaven sono le traduzioni, perché in un prodotto con così tanto simbolismo, basta una parola sbagliata, tutto il contesto viene stravolto. Nell’ultimo, però, secondo me hanno proprio rovinato tutto.

Quando Tanrak va in confessionale, per noi internazionali viene tradotto con “Padre ho peccato” quando in realtà, come hanno ampiamente spiegato molti ultenti, tra cui user dellightb, lui dice “ผิดกับผู้มีพระคุณ” che significa “(your) child did something wrong”
Tuo figlio ha fatto qualcosa di sbagliato.

E poi continua tutto il discorso dicendo che lui si è allontanato dal percorso che aveva stabilito, che sentiva di aver deluso chi l’aveva aiutato e creduto il lui, che aveva paura di aver deluso Dio perché alla fine non ha sentito più di volerlo servire totalmente, aveva timore di non poter andare in paradiso perché questo motivo.
Per questo per oltre vent’anni non è più tornato.

Non ha mai detto che crede di aver peccato scegliendo Barth, perché infatti dopo dice che non ha mai dovuto scegliere, ha seguito l’amore ed è stato giusto per lui, facendolo ha capito che poteva amare anche Dio, senza perdere sé stesso.

Lui non si sente in colpa perché ha deciso di amare, ma perché pensava di aver deluso chi lo amava.
Per questo la scena con Padre Arnon nel finale è potentissima, perché in contrapposizione con la prima confessione, nell’ultima Tanrak non parlava di paura di essere sé stesso, ma paura che non lo avrebbero mai accettato perché ha scelto sé stesso.
Ma erano paure irrazionali, perché Padre Arnon gli ha fatto capire che prima di chiedere perdono a lui o a Lui, doveva in primis perdonare sé stesso.

Quindi no, Tanrak non è rimasto assieme a Barth per oltre 20 anni pensando che il loro amore fosse un peccato, no, lui lo considera un miracolo.

Oh my, the editor was on the same path as Tanrak
It's so personal to so many people on the team and it's so evident too, this indeed is the best work, the editing carried part of the story too

Every second of TTH has a meaning because every person who worked on it had something personal connecting them to this story

The way this story was portrayed and ended is also a reflection to everything they went through, I am so happy for all phis who took this challenge for their younger selves and for other people who might be in similar situation

i can't stop appreciating gemini's acting here like the way he was trying to hide his pain from his mother because he knew his mother sacrificed everything just so that he could live and he didn’t want to show his mom that he wasn’t living well. He teared up and he did so well and it was so natural because it came to him just so easily. The pain a child would feel if they saw their parents cry and hurt because of them even though they wanted to but he knew at the end of the day he was the cause of the entire situation. He showed as if he went through it in real life. NORAWIT THE ACTOR YOU ARE
