@bandq_help spent over an hour on hold to various different numbers today, finally get an answer then they put me on hold before I can say my order number. Can someone please help me with my order today?
@poornabell And I know relationships often have an unfair balance of labour, but there are times when it would be nice to half the amount housekeeping, cleaning and life admin to do… and someone to split long drives with.
@poornabell It’s cumulative too. Paying less tax, less bills, less rent, get on the housing ladder quicker… it’s all wealth building that you’re not able to access as a single person.
@poornabell Agree with everyone about food (and therefore waste!) but hotels/travel are my biggest annoyance. I have so much freedom but at twice the price. It’s also awkward when some couples are blind to the fact they have double the income and half the expenses.
Here's exactly what Macron just said replying to the Truss "friend or foe" comment (my Eng subtitles 👇)
(although I think his silence and look when asked the question says it all 😀👇)
It hasn’t sunk in yet but…SOME NEWS.
I am so profoundly grateful & relieved.
Thank you to the judge, my stellar legal team & the 29,000 people who contributed to my legal defence fund. I literally couldn’t have done it without you 🙏🙏🙏

The amount Elon Musk just paid for Twitter ($44 billion) is nearly equal to Biden’s proposed climate budget ($44.9 billion), in case anyone's wondering how seriously we’re taking the climate crisis
Elon Musk told the United Nations he would give them $6 billion to end world hunger if they showed him a detailed plan of how they would use the money. They called his bluff and gave him their plan— and then they never got the money. Now he’s buying Twitter for $45 billion.
Keir Starmer on Conservative ministers comparing Boris Johnson’s Partygate fine to a speeding ticket:
"As it happens the last minister who got aspeeding ticket and then lied about it ended up in prison. And I know about it because I prosecuted him."
The week in Tory MPs so far: one convicted of molesting a minor, another having to apologise for defending said paedophile, PM and chancellor convicted of breaking the COVID laws they wrote. And it’s only Fucking Tuesday.
Next month, MPs get a £2,200 pay rise to £84,144 while the country gets a rise in national insurance, energy bills & council tax.
We’re already in the top 5% of earners.
When I was elected, I pledged to take home £35k and donate the rest to local causes. That won't be changing.
