Building mobile apps with @uladzislauchach. Design, SwiftUI, shipping. Building in public for #Shipaton. 10Goals is live today 👇 (see pin for 1 year free)
I’m participating in #shipaton and for the last month I was building 10Goals, an ios app. It is a separate place for long-term goals, so they don’t get buried inside tasks, projects and notes.
Most of you probably aren’t the exact target audience, but there are a lot of founders and designers here, so I’d really appreciate your feedback. What is good, what is not, what feels confusing.
The app has a hard paywall, so I made a “1 year free” promo code. If you’re interested, just click the link below and it will activate the promo code. Don’t worry, there is no auto-renewal.

Since I somehow got a lot of new followers overnight, here’s a little about how I got into building apps.
I started at 18 with zero coding experience, learned Swift for about a month, doubted myself constantly, and then just started building.
A few months later, some of my apps started making real money, and I’ve been doing this ever since. I’ve never had a job or freelanced.
Some months were great, some were terrible, and I thought about giving up many times. But I’m still here because I genuinely love turning ideas into real products.
I use Figma, SwiftUI, and Codex to build my apps.
I currently have 8 apps on the App Store and 1 on Google Play.
I’m still learning all the time, and I don’t think that ever really stops.

Promo codes results so far for our #shipaton app:
We shared 10Goals here while our TikTok accounts were still warming up.
Got some downloads, but 0 trials. We have a hard paywall.
So we made 1 year free promo codes for followers who wanted to try the app and give feedback.
Next day: 5 redemptions.
So yes, X audience is not our target audience. But remove the price and people are still willing to try the app.
That gives us first usage + feedback, which is useful.
Promo codes are in the pinned post if you're interested (ios only).

@shippedbytim Exactly 😅 And the truth is, we only update the apps that aren’t doing that well, which is about half of them, every 3–5 months because updating them more often would just be a waste of time
Finally started TikTok for the #Shipaton app.
I spent the last 2 days just warming up the account, scrolling through my niche, saving ideas, and trying to understand what kind of hooks could work.
Since the account is new, I’m keeping it simple and posting just 1 TikTok a day.
For now, I’m doing slideshows in Figma because it’s the easiest format for me: find some nice images, add text, test a hook, post it, and see what happens.
Now I just need to figure out what actually works.
@b4dgerr It took me 4 weeks, and there’s even a saying about MVPs to help your case:
“If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.”
Interesting X experiment.
@daryachach and I joined the same “Looking to connect” trend.
She posted ~10 hours before me:
46 followers → 3,120+
I posted later:
97 → 267
My takeaway: timing matters a lot. Next time I should jump into the trend earlier.
X growth is not linear at all. You can post daily for a month, then one trend gives you more growth than everything before.
My stats are in the screenshot for anyone interested.
#buildinpublic
I’m 22.
I design and build my own mobile apps and do the marketing for them.
From Belarus, based in Poland 🇵🇱
Looking to connect with more developers, designers and marketers.
I was doing #BuildInPublic daily for a month and got 46 followers.
Then I posted a selfie with “Let’s connect” and got 2,500+ in a day.
So I guess that’s how X works…
@m_0_r_g_a_n_ The difference is that we don’t have any checklists, only milestones, and we’re trying really hard not to make it feel like a hardcore tracking app, more like journaling :)
