I don’t think so we have picked up multiple things which were previously thought to be impossible
But even Fable level models overfit on enterprise data ..
My sense is that software jobs will become domain heavy but they will be there
I am now fully convinced that software engineering would go the same route of Civil Eng / Mechanical Eng in India
There is no moat left in coding
the transformation of Indian education system to compete in this market will take decades
Till the time HITL is a thing 90% folks can hold on to there jobs
Others please move to ML/ Infra / Electrical asap
@Vibeyseagull This is like saying Males should become great protectors and hunter gatherers before doing something else .

This is how I would allocate my 100 Crore Net worth - today
- Apartment in a gated society 7.5 Crore
- Jewellery - 5 Crore (only Gold, no diamond or Silver)
- Mutual Funds - 70 Crore (mix of Flexi, Multi Asset, Aggressive Hybrid)
- Valuation of shares in own business 5 Crores
- Gift City - 9 to 10 Crore (all country active fund = 4 Crore, S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 = 6 Crore)
- Some money in PPF, SSY and NPS (only through employer) ~ 1.5 to 2.5 Crores (accumulated over a period of time)
- Luxury Car = 75 Lakhs
- Running Balance in Bank = 15 to 25 lakhs
If you had 100 Crore of net worth, how would it be split between different asset classes and securities, please do comment and share your thoughts.
The Middle Class is trapped for real
Bare minimum expenses :
₹50L on a wedding
₹25L on children’s education
₹15L on a car loan
And add to that home loans, healthcare, vacations, and daily living expenses
Maintaining a "decent" lifestyle in a metro city has become incredibly expensive
@rushlane Uncalled for if a landslide damages a facade and blocks the road it’s a natural calamity and definitely a engineering setback but nothing to be ridiculed
@abhisanket But to be very honest this is good real time reporting of such road conditions and this nature of escalation will make corruption very costly to top brass
if you grew up with an air conditioner and wifi and a laptop - this number is 5-10lacs a month for you by the way.
higher if your parents can speak english.
do not invest until u hit a consistent 10 lacs a month (if ur in early 20s + don’t have to support family or pay any debts)
What’s this logic of petrol import bills need to be reduced?
Aap acha khaasa munaafa kamaa ke and tax le ke customer ko petrol bech rahe hain. Some brands are exporting petrol too from India.
If any import that’s actually hurting us, that’s all damn things from China from clothes, electronics, furniture, steel, toys and what not! Which has broken the backbone of small scale manufacturing.
Uska samaadhaan karo idhar education sasti kar ke & manufacturing culture laa kar with ease of business.
These chara katana nave no idea what the service industry does
Write bad code : client never leaves
Have you ever gone through a RFP bid ?
Have you ever written a module ?
Have we ever strategised how to version control for latest Regulations
The world runs on Indian Tech
TCS, Wipro, Infosys didn't accidentally end up with bad culture, low pay, and zero products.
That's the whole business model.
Pay peanuts → no one argues.
Promote politicians → no one innovates.
Write bad code → client never leaves.
You thought they were failing at products. They're winning at billing.
About 2 years ago, there was a tussle between Reliance and TCS for the title of India's largest company by market cap. TCS's market cap was about 16.3 Lk Cr.
Today, TCS+INFY+HCL TECH+Wipro+Tech M barely reach that number. The top 5 IT companies' combined mkt cap is approx. 18 Lk Cr.
Today the market cap of Reliance Industries is Rs. 17.7 Lk cr.

Saw a man with 14cr( 1.5M $) Portfolio in Metro today🤯
This afternoon a very simple looking man in his 40's was sitting next to me. He looked like a random corporate employee. He was checking his stocks portfolio on Groww and since I am also a stocks geek I peeped on his portfolio worth and it was fucking 14cr. I had to look again just to be sure. The man saw me peeping and switched off his screen asap.
I again looked at him, his clothes were basic formals. His phone was an iPhone(not sure which one, not the latest ones tho), he wasn't looking very rich by the looks but his face had some kind of content. I don't know how to describe it but corporate employees generally look anxious/sleep deprived/ depressed/unhappy. I don't think he was a corporate employee but that portfolio value still was shocking. I was thinking if I had that much I would for sure not be travelling on a metro.
