@pcshipp Quick tip though — not every backlink actually helps. It depends on the ‘rel’ tag: if it’s nofollow or ugc (like comment/forum links), it won’t really pass value. The ones that move the needle are the followed links a site places on purpose.
@peacel1ghter If they remove just one app they will tell why. Usually they even give 14 days (now 18) to fix the issue. What was your message from them?
@keleftheriou@Noahpinion Fake reviews is bad of course. But as I know Apple is very strict about that now. I’ve seen a group on telegram where guys shared stories about account deletion after that and that’s fair. What would be even more fair is Apple sometimes check the “report a problem” mailbox🤣
@keleftheriou@Noahpinion But it’s hardly a break-even for income-expense. Not to mention the price for user acquisition. I see user reviews who bought 9.99$/year subscription for a very nice app and they talk about the app as shit “I hate the pop up colour” and so one
@keleftheriou@Noahpinion I don’t see any scam. Do you know how much 1hr of call recording costs to the developer? The guy could record 3-5 hours a week and then get a refund. It’s so unfair. Most of the users just want to use it once so its pretty fair price. Of course they could do consumable in-app
@MarkBridgesApps@keleftheriou We’ve asked if the app suits via email and they didn’t give the answer. Just “we can’t answer, please, submit the app and we’ll consider”
@elohohel@johnhaney I believe it’s not gonna work. They could send you a letter on review stage that it’s a spam. The nice solution is to add not only flashlight support but also music or so one like it was suggested on the thread. AppStore Metadata is also important to be changed
@parrots And app preview option to set poster frame is not working now. Some random frame is selected and ‘select’ button is not tappable. Tried either safari and chrome from Mac and iPad.
