I’ve always found it peculiar given that let’s say hypothetically an individual heard a hedge fund manager discussing their track record on a podcast (when they weren’t supposed to) - it’s not as if this individual is at risk of getting duped into investing in the fund. They won’t even meet the minimum ticket size for the fund, and if they could, they’d be an accredited investor.

@AndrewMayne@nic_carter This is compensation theory, no? Historical examples show past displaced human labor being absorbed by new sectors. But what if AI-driven growth doesn’t create truly net new human-centered industries?
@lulumeservey Agreed. It’s very hard for CEO communications to be truly authentic if someone else is ghostwriting content for them. It also massively slows down how fast you can distribute said content due to a more drawn out creation and approval/review process.
