Reports confirm that the Israeli army has arrested a cancer patient and her companion upon their return to Gaza via the Rafah crossing.
Her name is Amal Al-Rifi.
This story is bigger than a book simply being cancelled.
Penguin Random House pulled Alana Hadid and Jenan Matari’s book about the Palestinian experience after clashing with them over how to tell Palestine’s story.
Apparently, even a children’s book about Palestine needs a disclaimer making sure everyone knows October 7 was illegal, while the Nakba, occupation and decades of dispossession are up for editorial debate.
Alana and Jenin eventually walked away rather than publish a version they couldn’t stand behind.
Imagine having to fight a publisher just to tell your own people’s story.
Thankfully, Palestinian-owned Interlink Books will publish it in 2027.
An American citizen, Haytham Taysir, was just severely beaten by settlers in his olive groves in Burqa, Ramallah. @GovMikeHuckabee how’s that crackdown on settler terrorists going?
🚨 BREAKING:
🇷🇺 Vladimir Putin:
"If Russia did even 10% of what Israel is doing in Gaza, NATO would be on Moscow's doorstep by now."
"We have learned that the West considers human rights to begin and end at the borders of Israel's interests."
Remember at Obama’s second inauguration when Lupe Fiasco performed his lyrics, “Glenn Beck is a racist, Limbaugh is a racist, Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit. That’s why I ain’t vote for him…” and was escorted off stage?
The depth of Israel's international isolation is difficult to fathom if you're just watching mainstream media.
But these images do not lie. Look at all these delegates leaving the General Assembly in protest as soon as Netanyahu takes the podium... https://t.co/Ul7j6UVgkS
Ed Sheeran is probably in shock right now. He knew that he was touring with Palestine supporters but he didn’t expect them to really believe in it. He doesn’t understand what that’s like. He’s never supported anything that wasn’t approved by the bosses for commercial purposes.
imagine if someone in 2016 told me that in 10 years I’d have more respect for Macklemore than Radiohead. the kind of prediction that medieval kings used to kill their seers for making.
An Israeli double-tap killed at least two Palestinians in #Gaza on Tuesday, including a child, as civilians approached to rescue an injured man from the first strike.
Striking civilians as they rush to rescue the wounded is a grave violation of international humanitarian law and may constitute a war crime.
Since Robert Kraft is in the news, this is a good time to remind you what he did.
In 2019, he went twice in two days to a massage parlor in Jupiter, FL.
The first time he got a handjob.
The second time he got a blowjob.
Cops were already suspicious of the place so they had cameras that caught it all.
BUT...
Bob is a billionaire. So he hired the best lawyers money could buy for "high 6 to low 7 figures" and they found a judge who ruled the cameras violated the law and tossed everything out.
Bob walked.
The women did not. They were arrested and charged with prostitution.
So in short.. fuck that guy and his holier than thou moral charade.
Breaking breaking breaking:
Video evidence of an israeli double tap today in Gaza City.
You can see the 15-year-old victim who photo I posted minutes ago being targeted as he approached the corpse of another victim who was just slaughtered.
Share this as much as possible.
🚨HEARTBREAKING: The father of child Mohammed bids farewell to his son, killed in an Israeli strike in Sheikh Radwan, west of Gaza City.
Mohammed was trying to rescue a wounded paramedic who had been struck by Israel when Israeli forces launched a second strike, killing the child.

🚨BREAKING : The final moments of a child killed while trying to help an injured paramedic in Gaza.
In the first Israeli strike, a paramedic was wounded. Mohammed approached him, trying to help the injured paramedic. Israeli forces then struck the area again, killing both Child Mohammed and the wounded paramedic.
Here's the thing:
Israeli drones are known to carry advanced electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) payloads. Israel leads in drone technology:https://t.co/l77e5OPxN7. These drones can clearly see everything on the ground. So the murder of the child is undoubtedly deliberate.
Israelis and their supporters have been lying to the world for three years that "Hamas hides behind civilians" to justify mass murdering people and wiping out entire neighbourhoods.
Israel has or is supplied with the most sophisticated war technologies in the world. It has drones, quadcopters, and targeted Apache helicopter missiles.
During the current so-called ceasefire, we have seen the impeccably precise assassinations. It could have done so during the genocide to mitigate civilian casualties, but it didn't. It carpet-bombed almost every inch of Gaza. Why? Because the intention was clear: Exterminate and ethnically cleanse the Palestinians.
Those who parroted this Israeli propaganda about Hamas and excused Israeli saturation bombing have blood on their hands.
🔴 Five Palestinians, including children, were killed and 13 wounded when a damaged residential building housing six families collapsed in Gaza. More than 50 people remain trapped beneath the rubble.
Nearly a year into the so-called ceasefire, and almost three years into Israel’s genocide, Israel continues blocking reconstruction materials, mobile homes and durable tents from entering Gaza.
The United States and the “@BoardOfPeace” have upheld this system of collective punishment. They continue to work together to destroy the conditions necessary for Palestinian life in Gaza.
Two things can be true: NAZA is a crucial documentary evidence against genocide deniers
We live in a frighteningly hypocritical world that applauds Israelis who call out apartheid & genocide while shaming & disbelieving Palestinians who say the exact same words
Like when German Culture Minister Claudia Roth said her applauds at 2024 Berlinale were solely directly at Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham & not his Palestinian co-director Basel Adra who was with him on stage
An Israeli saying genocide & apartheid is "brave" & "extraordinary". A Palestinian using the same words is "radical", "extremist", "propagandist", "antisemite", & "uncompromising"
Palestinian testimonies & evidence are treated as "biased", "exaggerated", "unreliable", until Israelis say otherwise!
We need a former Israeli prime minister to say there's ethnic cleansing in the West Bank for European governments to believe it
We need a former Israeli foreign minister to say that Camp David was a scam & that if he was a Palestinian he would've rejected it, in order to debunk the myth of the "most generous Israeli peace offer"
We need the Israeli newspaper Haaretz to say Israel is torturing Palestinians to death in detention camps for the world to believe what we've been documenting & saying for years
We always need an Israeli to add legitimacy & credibility to our meticulous & impeccable evidence
That shouldn't mean discounting Israeli dissenting voices who speak up; it doesn't mean devaluing the important work they do & the risks they take when they call out their own country's crimes. There's already been a giant wave of attacks from Israeli government & opposition leaders against the filmmakers of NAZA
Shame & anger should be directed at mainstream places who suppress & sideline Palestinian voices while elevating Israelis who say the exact same message
The game is rigged against us. But that doesn't mean attacking Israeli dissidents like Yuval. It should rather mean that we & Israeli anti-apartheid activists should jointly call out & condemn those who set the rules of the game at every possible opportunity until Palestinian voices are heard & believed
What do our people stand to gain from attacking Yuval & discrediting this movie? Activism is about what works, what makes a difference, not what feels good. NAZA is an important & crucial documentary that must be seen all around the world.
