Twitter sadly can bring out the worst in people & society.
I have deep respect for those that wear a uniform to serve our community & country; be it Metro staff or Nat’l Guard.
Opine on politics or hate on me 🤷 but pls be nice to public servants who are just doing their jobs
in my opinion, the best way to avoid getting ticketed by a DC speed camera is simply not driving >10 mph over the speed limit.
nobody is forcing you to speed! speed cameras literally save lives!
La Grande Boucherie, the French talker in DC and sibling to @Boucherienyc , is big, beautiful -- and something of wreck. In short: I eat bad food so you don't have to. https://t.co/8NozPhiKzy
At this point, we’re probably better off painting our own bike lanes on Connecticut Avenue.
The mayor & DDOT have made it clear that they don’t care about Washingtonians’ lives.

BREAKING - @DDOTDC Chief Sharon Kershbaum says a bike lane is now NOT being considered for a more than 3 mile stretch of busy CT Ave in NW DC. This has been a controversial project for years - a bike lane was recommended. But the new DDOT Chief is changing course #bikedc
Don't blame me. Look what you made me do.
Don't blame me. Look what you made me do.
Don't blame me. Look what you made me do.
Don't blame me. Look what you made me...

Met Dave who works at the restaurant I was at tonight who takes the 92 🚌. Said @wmata running 24hr bus has been a life changer as he gets off after previous service ended. Stories like this make being part of #yourmetro motivating. Thx for saying hi Dave and for riding #wmata
Somehow missed that @DCGov_ABCA Board sort of did a compromise Adams Morgan moratorium extension in August. Extended 3 years, tavern cap matches existing numbers

You think that has power? Meet the real deal. 670,000 lbs with max tractive torque over 26,000 lb-ft. Fully⚡️, moves 1200 people, lasts 40 yrs and helps save the 🌎. #transit
NEW UPDATE: Bus lane enforcement is now indefinitely delayed until @DDOTDC staff can personally flag down drivers and offer them an apology, free coffee, and educational materials to increase their awareness of bright red lanes with the words "BUS LANE" in them.
Took a 🚲 ride w/ some @wmata friends to remind people that bus lanes are for #wmata 🚌 & not 🚙! Our operators & ~400k bus riders/day deserve RESPECT and that means no parking in bus stops/lanes. We will never stop working to improve #yourmetro
