I lost one of my best friends a few days ago. He was stubborn, a royal pain in the ass, and knew exactly how to get under my skin—and I loved him for it. I didn’t spend enough time with him, and now I wish I had. Life goes on, as it always does, but there’s a hole in my heart—another name added to the list of those I’ve lost. My parents, my brother-in-law, and now Paolo.
If he were here, he’d tell us to quit sulking, brush it off, and keep moving forward. “It is what it is,” he’d say, refusing to let us dwell. So that’s what I’ll try to do. Rest easy, my friend.

BREAKING NEWS: Rowan Atkinson, a legendary icon of comedy, television, and cinema, has left even the world’s richest and most powerful figures stunned—not just with his words, but with decisive action.
At a glamorous red-carpet gala in Los Angeles on December 20, attended by film moguls, tech billionaires, and Hollywood’s most elite stars, Rowan Atkinson took the stage to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. But instead of offering a conventional acceptance speech, he chose a moment of truth—direct, fearless, and deeply human.
He did not thank the Academy. He did not reminisce about Mr. Bean, Blackadder, or decades of global laughter. Instead, Atkinson looked straight into the audience of wealth and influence and declared:
“We sit here surrounded by diamonds and artistic glory while the world outside is falling apart. If your voice can move millions and you choose not to use it for those who have no voice, then you are not creating change—you are creating noise.”
The room fell into complete silence. Film executives and invited guests sat motionless, struck by the weight of his words. He continued, unwavering:
“If you have more than you need, it no longer belongs only to you. Your responsibility is to lift up those who are still beneath you.”
And he did not stop at words.
That very night, Atkinson announced that all profits from his archived works and future creative projects—estimated at 160 million USD—will be donated to fund children’s health initiatives, climate action programs, and arts education for underprivileged youth.
His message was unmistakable:
“Legacy is not built on what you earn. It is built on what you give.”
In an era when celebrities are often dismissed as hollow symbols, Rowan Atkinson delivered a powerful reminder to the world:
true impact is not created by applause, but by easing the suffering of others.
My 13 year-old cousin in Kenya called me an hr ago saying he wants to make an app. So I had him download Replit on his iPad, he shared his screen, and an hr later he built a shop where he can sell his Pokemon cards in Nairobi (b/c eBay doesn't work well there). 2026 is wonderful.
Yae Amie, 25 years have passed, but your love, lessons, and strength remain . You taught me the values that shape me today — resilience, kindness, and the power of hard work . I still remember your sacrifices, your laughter, and the warmth of your guidance.
Though you're no longer here to enjoy the benefit of your labor, your spirit lives on in everything I do . Today, I celebrate you — a great and hardworking mother who left an unforgettable mark . Rest in peace, Mom.

It’s official — we’ve secured a $75 billion company valuation.
This (still) makes us Europe’s most valuable private company and in the top 10 of the world's most valuable private companies.
I was in the grocery store today and the man in front of me… his card kept declining. He had two kids with him and they were slowly putting their items back one by one. He kept whispering, “Daddy’s trying. I’m sorry.” Then the lady behind me tapped him and said, “Put everything back in the cart. All of it. Kids shouldn’t feel their parent’s stress.” She paid the whole bill and walked off like it was nothing—no bragging, no camera, no attention. Just pure humanity. People like that still exist and they deserve every blessing coming their way.
@amasad so I’m in DC short visit having an early dinner rebuilt my personal website using the new ridiculously good design feature. Rebuilt an old site in less than 20 minutes, looks gorgeous about to publish and am thinking what a world we live in. Respect @replit by the way the original took 3 months and cost me 4K lol
@DanKulkov It’s surreal ….. not my thing really but I have launched one that is still a little buggy but brings in $480/months kinda fun for a non programmer?
Got a demo of a new turboprop plane and almost everything is automated including landing.
“So what do pilots do?”
“Just monitor and enjoy.”
“So vibe flying?”
“Yes”
Crazy part is none of it appears to be based on neural nets.
