Let’s be perfectly clear about what is happening in the United States right now. This is our country, these are our rights, and this is our culture. In America, dogs are not just property—they are family. For millions of Americans, we love our dogs more than we love most people. They protect us, they guard our homes, and they watch over our children. From life-saving service guides for the blind to K9 heroes on the front lines of law enforcement, dogs are a non-negotiable, integral part of American life.
It is completely degrading to think that people can come to this country and expect Americans to clear out of public spaces or restrict their animals just to accommodate religious prayer. Anyone demanding that American citizens compromise their daily lives or alienate their companion animals is playing with fire.
Look at the double standard: if Americans travel to a strict Islamic nation, we don’t get to demand changes to their laws. We don’t get to walk our dogs wherever we want or wear whatever we want. If a Westerner violates their strict cultural rules, they face immediate arrest, fines, or get thrown out of the country entirely. Visitors are forced to follow their rules, no exceptions.
So why on earth should anyone have the right to come to the United States and expect Americans to bend the knee? They knew exactly who we were before they got here. They knew our culture, they knew our lifestyle, and they knew our values. If you choose to move to a new country, the burden of adaptation is entirely on you.
The U.S. Constitution protects freedom of religion, but it does not grant the right to erase American heritage or dictate how citizens utilize shared public spaces. If anyone needs a specialized, dog-free zone to conduct ritual prayers, they have a personal responsibility to find a private environment to do it. American culture will not be rewritten, and our dogs will not be pushed aside.
It is time to take a hard stand for national identity. Should anyone moving to a new country be expected to fully assimilate to its rules?

My thoughts after 3 months in the US/Texas🇺🇸:

- Americans are way more extroverted than Europeans
- Talking to strangers is normal here
- My first H-E-B trip felt like Boris Yeltsin seeing an American grocery store
- Some food is more artificial, but the amount of choices is insane
- You can still eat healthy. You just have to choose it
- High risk, high reward is real
- Way more people are entrepreneurial
- People dream bigger than in Europe, and they actually execute
- Obv not everyone is smarter, but the smart people are world-class
- Successful people here are way more down-to-earth. In Europe, successful people care about status and can be arrogant
- Cars. Enough said
- Americans have perfected artificial sweets
- There’s still more freedom here than in Europe
- One thing I didn’t expect: some Americans talk down on America
- As an outsider, that’s weird, because imo it’s still the greatest country on Earth🇺🇸🇺🇸
