@Devsthetix I'm the other way round - switched from mostly free weights to mostly machine weights, and would never look back. Joints are less sore, and strength continues to improve. Do both!
@pensandpoison This has always been the case. I used to love reading the dictionary as a young teenager and even family and friends made fun of me for doing so. There will always be double standards... the best approach is not to care what people think of you.
@tombos21 There seem to be a lot of people who don't understand the concept of a "one time offer". No, this isn't a lottery ticket that you can purchase indefinitely. It's a single instance of spending $1,000 for the 1-in-1,000 chance to win $1B.
@nrdgrl007@ControGorilla Also worth noting that the "dickskin" physique is only attainable if you subscribe to a punishing regimen of hyper-controlled training, eating, and sleeping. The guy on the right is miserable, but he won't tell you that.
@RobFo1@MarkovMagnifico £46K in 2001 was an enormous amount of money, well over double the then-median of £19,722, and worth £88K today. It comes as no surprise to me that you upset people when talking about the value of money.
@RobFo1@MarkovMagnifico A £70K salary is huge, almost double the median UK salary as of April 2026. With a £70K salary you could support a family without your partner needing to work. Our household income is lower than that. I'm shocked you think it's NOT a lot...
@0xEnjooyer Started taking creatine about a year ago, 5g/day, have since blasted all my 1RM PBs. There's a noticeable improvement in my strength and recovery, and it's possible that creatine plays a part.
@BryanLarsenArts Beautiful work, although I disagree that it costs $0 to support an artist. I recently lost my job as a senior concept artist and need >$0 to support my family. The biggest problem with the current "sharing is caring" model is that it nets precisely zero income for artists.
@DemNikoArt It's all about the wiggle! This immediately makes me think of an excavator, and it's the first time I've seen an animation that has authentic looking hydraulic lines. Great work!
@DeanTTraining I had a big mate of mine sit under 65kg (around 140lbs) and he got stuck under it. Benching 135 is not a feat that men are naturally predisposed to - it's not an advantageous compound movement, unlike pulling / lifting.
@PlanetOfMemes What AI-fuelled nonsense is this? The image has clearly been manipulated with photo textures... this is what the human eye looks like through a scanning electron microscope: https://t.co/4PBLxI6w36
@loymershimer@becketcook I love how eloquently you put it. Any hint of departure from Sola Scriptura is the real danger, regardless of one's stance on spiritual gifts.
