@stephfilbay value in a patient getting an MRI at 6 weeks post injury following the cross bracing protocol?
The patient would like to get an understanding of progress. I imagine this would really only show if ligament position had changed? Too early? Thoughts? @JaneRooney1
@DrJN_SportsMed I love following your cases. So good for a Physios DDx. Especially curly ones. Also great to see what a sports doc would do. Who else would you suggest to follow for similar stuff?
@Seth0Neill@Sinead_Holden Could someone point me to the latest OGS management research. Had one walk in the clinic today after following along online over the weekend.
Are we aiming for pain free rehab and training? Or happy to accept some pain?
Nice new study from @davidopar@niravmaniar91 et al.
Lower limb joint mechanics during maximal accelerative and decelerative running

@DrJN_SportsMed ✅ with consent.
Ongoing lateral knee pain following lateral meniscectomy 15/52 ago. Worst when striking golf ball “hitting through the ball” (demonstrates valgus force)
TOP PTFJ Palp + glide.
Pre op MRI pictured. Trial PTFJ 💉?
@DrJN_SportsMed I’m kinda hoping that it’s not just an unsuccessful lateral meniscectomy surgery. I know it’s early doors still at 15/52. I just can’t see how mechanical symptoms will improve with such agressive compressive force golf action in a keen golfer (3-5X week)
@DrJN_SportsMed bilateral upper limb parathesia and weakness with barbell cleans. Heavier the quicker and more irritable
Positive TOS testing.
Have you seen a mechanical brachial plexus compression with front rack position?
@Fit_For_Golf Gday Mike, love your golf specific stuff. I’m a physio and work with a lot of postoperative knees. I was wondering if you had any drills you used to work on restoring closed chain knee rotation when returning to golf?
@DrJN_SportsMed I have TKR pre op client with 65 degrees flexion. Hard end feel. Pain at EOR flexion focally felt lateral/posterolateral.
..Proximal TFJ? Other DDxfor such a firm block and mechanical symptoms? Concerned his TKR won’t resolve flexion ROM limitation.
@Alan_Couzens question… how long on average does one have to do aerobic training daily to see a notable chance in resting heart rate?
I know this isn’t a simple question.
@AbigailMackey1@grith_hojfeldt@ISMCopenhagen I’m sorry but I am underinformed in this world, is there someone who can “nutshell” the findings and clinical implications. Looks interesting
