Instead, they would be expected to donate their surplus to food banks, to help feed those who are hungry.

The law is expected to eliminate 1,300 tonnes of food from landfills.

Scientists in Switzerland have created a machine that allows organs to be transplanted after being stored for more than three days.

Amazing Science Alert:
