@moviendo_me@strzibnyj@igor_alexandrov I had similar concerns about the low limits, but I haven't encountered any of them so far.
Perhaps try it with a free account and see how you get on.
@jasonfried I understand this is not your itch to scratch, but such a product would open a gateway, allowing companies to escape the grips of JIRA and move to products like Basecamp whilst retaining the story of how their software was built.
@jasonfried Most companies are locked into JIRA. Cancelling is not an option as the history is essential. The lifeline would be a ONCE product to export JIRA data, thus removing the handcuffs, allowing companies to own ‘their’ history and in turn, the option to use an alternative solution.
@strzibnyj Thanks for clarifying! I was just wondering, as I’ve always thought of migration as a broader term that doesn’t necessarily imply an upgrade e.g. migrating from MySQL to PostgreSQL. But it makes sense in this context that you're referring to an upgrade. Appreciate the explanation
@jasonzimdars@jasonfried@kevinmcconnell Thanks Jason. I reached out via the https://t.co/dpLCNooq7q support email and Kevin responded earlier today to let me know he had fixed the issue 🙌🏼
@jasonfried I guess it's irrelevant to the majority of the audience, but very useful for the developers i.e. all relevant code references in one place for a given feature.
@strzibnyj Thanks & good to know. I'll bear the security aspects in mind. I've been using capistrano on self-setup servers for many moons now... finally time to make the switch to containers!
