.@hm - epic fail at Bluewater store - only one staff member in menswear so can’t/ won’t open changing rooms - instead it’s up and down to choose sizes/ try on. Queried manager, ‘no staff’… and retail is having a tough time 🤷‍♂️, sales prevention in action.

@juicemaster I think the greatest sadness was that as it became obvious that these measures were hugely OTT, ‘experts’ clung to the need for control and to save face rather than admitting that the logic they’d used was mistaken.

It was nothing to do with science - just ego.

Consider the shift from:

‘Which leader do we want?’

to

‘Do we need to be lead in this way any longer?’

Choosing a least bad option in a system that supports something we don’t ultimately want makes little sense.
