The Church Commissioners have posted another excellent set of results for last year. The assets have doubled in ten years—and increase 17-fold in 30. Why, then, are dioceses and parishes still under such financial pressure? @WalkerMarcus@AngelaTilby

Vision and frustration are two sides of the same coin. Those who have vision must also live with frustration. My experience is that frustration is part of the job.
So here’s to all the frustrated visionaries. Let’s make some progress today!
A great house for duty opportunity Saint Matthew's Church, Salford Priors to encourage inspiring Lay leaders ministry & being part of the Heart of England Team - check out video at https://t.co/SzxhQ8VRUf via @CofE_Cov
I often say to leaders to be intentional & steward well what God entrusts to you. Don’t focus on building a platform, or making a name for yourself. If you have to force your way that says more about you than Gods leading.
When God calls He also makes a way. Every. Single. Time.
John Piper: “Don’t just read the Bible. The devil knows the Bible by heart. He used it against Jesus. Rather, linger in God’s word, love the truth, and plead with him to open the eyes of your heart.”
We don’t often take a moment in life to reflect.
I encourage you, however old, rich, poor, pro or anti-brexit, and all the rest - to pause on Sunday to remember those who have died in conflicts past and present. We can only argue about these things because of them. #LestWeForget
