We should not allow political parties, leaders, and elections to be bought and sold. @Nigel_Farage cannot say that he has not been bought for £5m and what he is doing with the money. I told @UKHouseofLords that we need to put a cap on the maximum size of donations to parties.

To be fair to the council, their contractor is watering the plants today. And apparently are contracted to do so weekly when it's dry.

Though many of the plants were on their last legs when I watered them yesterday!

(It was to reduce the price to below a threshold but then to make up for it by increasing some of the additional costs).

Before I first stood for Parliament in Hackney, for the Lib Dems in 2010, I bought a house in the area, so that I could live where I hoped to represent.

The estate agent told me that they could work with the vendor to employ a common trick to pay less stamp duty.
