"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today."
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Aug. 28, 1963
On page twenty-six of “The Billionaire Tax” proposal in California, it explains how the state legislature can convert from a Billionaire Tax to an Everyone Tax without voter approval.
They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval.
Intelligence test for you: if this was meant to just target Billionaires, why did they write this in?
No more 28 year old foreigners playing college soccer if this passes.
The College recruiting agencies that pack college rosters with washed up “pro” international players that are 25 and older have to be hating this!!
We hope this passes!!
The NCAA is exploring a significant change to its eligibility rule, sources tell @YahooSports. The proposal creates an age-based standard: Athletes would have 5 years of eligibility from their 19th birthday or HS graduation.
No redshirts or waivers.

DM: The “coach” at Missouri State is also on the NCAA Soccer rules committee.
Very sad that we have people like this on that committee. If anything it should be coaches from SLU, Georgetown, or others that win with US born talent.

If mens college soccer in the United States is no longer about the American player…
Then I’m afraid that college men’s soccer will cease to exist in ten years.
Don’t tell me “it’s always been like this” it’s never been this bad. Especially in the days of the transfer portal.
They will eventually apply the “wealth tax” to everyone, just like the income tax, which was supposed to be just a temporary tax of a few percent of the top 1% to pay for WW1 …
On CNN: "President Trump should hire Nancy Pelosi in retirement to manage Americans' stock market portfolios. She beat the S&P 500 by 559%. We could all be retired in 6 months."
“Government has three primary functions. It should provide for military defense of the nation. It should enforce contracts between individuals. It should protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property.”

BREAKING 🚨: Euro
Gold has overtaken the Euro as the world's 2nd largest reserve asset, accounting for 20% of reserves, with the Euro slipping to 16%. The U.S. Dollar is still firmly #1 at 46% of reserves.
With the House settlement’s approval, a thread…
The settlement - negotiated by plaintiffs seeking back-NIL pay and NCAA/power leagues - has 3 main parts:
1) $2.8B in back-pay to ex-athletes
2) $20B+ in rev-share to future athletes
3) New roster rules & enforcement arm
Warren Buffett on how to eliminate deficit:
“Anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for reelection.”
This is a lazy comment. I abhor these comments because we do pay a "living wage". Some of my dishwashers make over six figures (dish is the most critical position). I haven't taken a penny from the restaurant as an owner and work shifts all week. When a server is stiffed, I cover their tip. Our team members are the restaurant.
This comment overlooks the reality of productive workers - they would rather work harder and earn a limitless amount of money based on their hard work than receive a (higher) fixed wage. For example, most team members would prefer to make the CA (16.50) minimum and have the opportunity to make $100 per hour in a shift with tips versus a set $35 an hour. Those that don't are typically the ones that don't hustle. There are places for both in our economy, but lazy thinkers want a catch-all approach that rewards bad work.
