Resident Evil Veronica was developed by the team behind Resident Evil 2 & 4 Remakes.
It's a third person game that takes place three months after Resident Evil 2.
Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi says they want to deliver something new and refreshing.

Exactly 💯
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 NLT
When we put God first in our lives and give everything to Him, everything else falls into place. Even video games.
Of course you shouldn’t binge on video games all the time. Of course it’s bad if they’re a stumbling block and you make them your idol.
But you know what?
So is movie binging
So is porn
And reading books
And eating too much
And drug addictions
Even coffee
Literally anything can become an idol - if you allow it.
And people have heard that already. Over and over.
No creative media made by humans is “perfect.” There’s always going to be *something* wrong when we look for it. Only the Word of God is perfect. And even that gets misunderstood.
But you know what, He put us here for a reason. He made the earth good. There is still good here. He wants us to enjoy life here. We’re on a mission. Unfortunately the religious minded brick and mortar churches have missed the boat. God is not pleased with them.
So He’s rising up a remnant who will listen to Him. God has can and will touch people’s hearts thru video games as well as many other unusual ways. He loves gamers. The remnant is now rising up, and we’re posied for a huge revival. You and I are part of that.
John the Baptist looked bizarre to the religious people too. He was God’s prophet. We’re going to look different from the white collar church folks. We’re the wild ones. And that’s okay!
“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” Psalms 37:4 NLT

@Fish2Write God is a creator. We are made in His image. We are made to create things too.
Jesus was a storyteller. Jesus is God. We are made to tell stories.
Video games, card games, table top games, manga, anime, and all this stuff are stories and creations. This is just a mission field.
@Stealth40k Give the medallions the powers they were originally going to have.
And the unicorn fountain would be cool. 😂
Yes, the music and VA will be the most impactful make-or-break moments for me.
@Fish2Write I got riled up at the peak of K-Pop Demon Hunters mania too. Churches and schools banning it because it mentions demons. They’re the same ones who called Pokémon demonic because it used evolution. KDH is actually amazing and parallels the Christian journey. It’s media illiteracy.
I get being skeptical of an OOT remake because of how beloved it is. It holds a special place in my heart too
But MAN people seem so joyless and cynical in wanting to tear down anyone who might be excited for this
We saw 15 seconds of boy sleeping. Chill out for now
@sammylee_0 Depends, honestly.
X is a great place for many, and the safest.
VII is for those who are willing to jump into something a little more.
VI is for those who love retro games.
FF1 is for purists who want to watch it evolve.
XV is good for people who only enjoy “modern” games.
@ScottRoberts Christian here. Father of 3, loving husband, USAF vet, English degree, 2 cars, a home and full time job. I love my games and collectibles. I love sharing my passions with my family. And I love Christ through all of it. In fact, games have played a pivotal role in my faith.
Russia: 75% divorce rate. Collapsed birth rates. Sky-high alcoholism, sex-trafficking, and domestic abuse. Very low church attendance.
The only way you can say Russia isn’t in sharper decline is if you’re being paid to say that.
Coincidently, know the op when you see it.
@RCAM_Media I struggle with 1st person POV games. It actually is less immersive to me. I feel like I lose all sense of my surroundings and if I try to spin around and take it all in, I get sick. I was SO happy with RE9 having both options.
Many ppl ask me (and others defending @MrsErikaKirk) why we care.
We don’t work for @TPUSA. We didn’t know Charlie. We don’t know Erika.
In his show yesterday, @benshapiro answered:
“I don’t think you have to be friends with somebody to defend their widow…
I think actually you can just defend the widows of people who got shot from conspiracy theories about how THEY did the shooting.”
The holy trinity of @maximilian_ reactions to FFVII characters being added to fighting games.

OKAY now that I’m finally back home from the work salt mines here are my personal first impressions and thoughts overall about this Nintendo Direct:
- It DID seem like there was weirdly a lot of “marshmallow fluff” for a good chunk of it (thumb wars for 5 minutes? Really??? 😅) BUT…
- They actually went overtime, it ran 60 minutes not 50 lol.
- And it certainly was NOT anemic by any means, a LOT of the big blockbusters showed up in between, chiefly Rayman, Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts, Xenoblade, Duskbloods, Star Fox, and Splatoon, followed by DLC stuff in between for Hello Kitty, Donkey Kong and Pokopia. If you’re a big fan of any of these, you definitely got fed.
- This is why the Ocarina of Time teaser felt short. It showed up at the VERY end. I think, if we didn’t know about the rumors being true that tiny teaser would have felt bigger going in cold, but honestly it’s fine because…
- It’s coming out this year, 2026 is already half over and they assured us there WILL be more Zelda stuff they will show us in the nearish future. I.E., no, Nintendo did not forget about Zelda’s 40th, they just ran out of time space to cover everything in one Direct and they will simply show us more later. We might even get a Zelda Direct, like Splatoon’s Direct in a few weeks. If nothing else, more OoT, which is never a bad thing.
If anything, this Direct has made me realize that video games have grown to the point where they’re now full blown cinematic experiences. Games are a lot bigger than they used to be. So everything can’t possibly squeeze into one Direct.
In other words, we won’t have just one anymore, in a sense. We’ll get SEVERAL.
