@OdesRadcliffe@GiffLasta Does God forgive anyone who doesnโt repent? No, and Jesus in Luke 17 requires us to forgive if someone repents but we are not required to forgive everyone who sins against us if they donโt repent.
@BrettRocker95@sola_chad Donโt forget Lydiaโs household and there was no indication in her case that they even shared the gospel with her family, just that the household was baptized
@tomascol@gracebaptist 3/ On what basis did you decide to ignore Jesusโ command in Luke and decide that the requirement to forgive as God forgives is โnot convincingโ to you?
@tomascol@gracebaptist 2/I also noticed that even though we are commanded to forgive as God has forgiven us and we know that God requires repentance prior to granting forgiveness, you dismissed the requirement for repentance as being โnot convincing.โ Contโdโฆ
@tomascol@gracebaptist I noticed in your podcast that you ignored Luke 17:3-4 where Jesus instructs us to rebuke our brother who sins and if he repents, to forgive him. This seems to directly contradict your counsel to forgive a brother who fails to repent.
