@owenjonesjourno He’s an antisemite. And he questioned whether Jews are actually unsafe, or just think they are unsafe. Yes, he said neither were acceptable (give him the Nobel peace prize), but he questioned it. We feel unsafe because we are unsafe. Murdered on the streets. In the UK.
@youngy_07@RobbieScowlz@JakeWSimons It is almost certain though that the hate marches through London and other cities, the lack of response to antisemitism and the normalisation of it has emboldened people like this (at best) and brainwashed a whole load of others. The result is a country where Jews aren’t safe.
@youngy_07@RobbieScowlz@JakeWSimons This doesn’t answer my question. Why is a Jewish man in Slough responsible for the actions of a country thousands of miles away?
@JakeWSimons@ZackPolanski only believes it’s a perception of unsafety of course. Just like the two dead in Manchester. Just perception. Not actually unsafe. Of course not.
@spbajko What hate did they reject? You checked out the deputy leader of the Greens? He is full of hate. For Jews and Israel, so maybe that doesn’t count?
@ZackPolanski The perfect example to support abolishing juries. Weak, woke, far left nonsense. When they smash your home and spine, you’ll say it is fair game I assume?
@WeAreOpenreach had full fibre fitted earlier this week. Hasn’t worked for a minute since. Apparently issue at the exchange but no idea on timing to fix. All the while I’m without internet. Can you help escalate please?
Bury Football Club are saddened to hear of the events in Crumpsall today on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
Our prayers are with the victims, their families and with the wider Jewish community.
@HialStann My question is why Gaza and no other war? What about Ukraine, Iran, Sudan, Myanmar etc.? And my hypothesis is that people don’t care as much because they don’t involve a Jewish state on the other side.
It is without doubt that what is happening in Gaza is awful. But why are people out every weekend in London protesting? Would they be if the other party in the conflict was not Israel / a Jewish state? I think not - see every other war currently being fought and their silence
Saturday’s policing operation is well underway.
