trying to be more active here, I'm David
built TikTokAPI (3M+ downloads, cited by Yale/the UN), found security vulns in YikYak covered by Vice.
SWE in NYC, getting deeper into systems and compilers for fun.
down to grab coffee in NYC, always open to meeting new people
went to the elevenlabs nyc tech week pop up, and if I ever have to argue for a discount with an AI again I’m leaving tech and going to live in the woods forever
in the future all the apps with “enterprise” feeling ui is just going to be done through mcp/cli
got mcp access to PagerDuty and you’re telling me I can now query the incidents I was involved in? then easily tie that to like slack incident threads
related but anyone know if there's standard conventions for like cli agent permission model? I sort of just made a middleware command like "{binary} ro list" so I can just allow the agent to do "ro *" and deny anything else
but a use could just do "{binary} list" which seems ok
@rudybanerjee yeah you can, rolling back a already committed transaction will just return an error you can discard.
I was mostly psuedocoding, but in prod you might want to log only rollback when the returned err != nil, and if the rollback itself fails then log it
