@37Ten12244070 I appreciate that you are a hard working person who has strongly held beliefs. I am not afraid of strong rhetoric. I am afraid that you might be capable of actual violence in the name of your highly charged rhetoric.
In my view theologies which do not feature the salvation of all look like dumpster fires masquerading as coherent theologies reflecting a God of love. These theologies reflect either a vindictive or uncaring God, who is content for there to be unresolved tragedy in creation.
@37Ten12244070 No I am not doing this for money. I already made clear. Any profit is used to help more find out that they can come to Christ along the lines taken in the days of Gregory of Nyssa and the like. I am concerned about whether or not you are threatening actual violence towards me.
@dwcongdon@BakerAcademic Hi David, I wonder if the publisher would be able to get me a preview copy for an episode of my podcast Grace Saves All: Christianity and Universal Salvation
@Melody70907@RandyKnie Hi, I would like to invite you to listen to at least the first episode of my podcast Grace Saves All: Christianity and Universal Salvation on most all podcast platforms. There is a renewed interest in Christian Universalism these days because of the concerns you are raising.
@37Ten12244070 I am happy to hear and consider your concerns. I bear no ill will towards others and neither do I threaten violence towards those who disagree with me. I wish well being towards all . I understand that these discussions are about matters of ultimate concern.
@BjPerrarre@TeDeum46060503 The problem here is that God does this in foreknowledge knowing it will happen. God creates the dangerous situation knowing his children will fall into and then punishes them forever for crimes he knew they would inevitably commit?
@37Ten12244070 I am concerned how that in the name of Christian Tradition many want to cancel the early Christians who believed in universal reconciliation.
I am doing my best to uncancel them and give them a fresh hearing.
Christian Tradition often is used as a way of naming of a terrifying supreme being who in foreknowledge creates children burdened by inherited guilt, who pours out his wrath on his own son, and who then eternally consciously torments all who he foresees will fail.
@glc_clarksville @Stu0Miller Luther - salvation is by grace alone, but God does not want to save all. Lutheranism - God wants to save all but not all will be saved. Luther, plus Lutheranism equals Christian universalism.
@37Ten12244070 I reinvest the modest royalties into further spreading the good news which used to be part of the early Christian witness. Christian Universalism is making a comeback! Check out Gregory of Nyssa and other Patristic universalists! Thanks for your interest.
@37Ten12244070 I have no church. All of the information that is in my book I give out for free on my podcast Grace Saves All: Christianity and Universal Salvation. If you are a first time author, you will know that there is considerable cost and getting your first book into print.
@37Ten12244070 I appreciate your responding to me though. Can you tell me what your theological background is? For instance, would you affirm that salvation is by grace alone?
All anti-universalist Christian theologies must recognize that since God is the first cause then all moral consequents in creation inevitably flow back to God, which means that any ultimately unsaved remainder in creation correspondingly subtracts from the goodness of God.
@BjPerrarre @mikkonenristo1 Well, Iโm not the only Christian in the history of the tradition to ever embrace this hope. So itโs not just singularly my invention.
@dryapologist@TheMagicSkeptic What about the scripture found in Isaiah 46:10 which suggests God knows the end from the beginning. Canโt God tell if Godโs creation will result in the salvation of all?
