@greateranglia 2 questions: 1. Do you still bother running 1C at weekends?: 2. How do you propose I get my refund without the cards your guards failed to give me? And don’t even think of suggesting I should have walked down the train to find them…
@greateranglia So…despite having a 1st Class return I traveled on a train from Ipswich to LST with no 1st Class. Imagine my delight when the 18:00 LST to Ipswich I’ve just traveled on ALSO had no 1st Class. On each journey your guard failed to reach the front of the train to give me the card.
THE ECHR PROTECTS US ALL
The rights within it – firmly implanted into UK law by the Human Rights Act – are the reason why families devastated by disasters like Hillsborough could demand justice, why victims of abuse can seek safety, and why disabled people are treated with dignity in care. It grants our right to protest, our right to privacy, our right to fair trials and so much more.

This was a sad sight to see on Saturday morning: 2 out of 3 pubs on #Eastmoor#Wakefield now boarded up and friendless. Albion was the pub where I bought my first pint back in 1972. This video sums up the carnage visited on Britain’s pub heritage. Good luck Fox & Grapes.
Still makes me angry seeing
Brits in the non-EU passport queue at a European airport.
It’s so symbolic of everything that was stolen from us by the liars that delivered #Brexit.
I don’t want stupid stamps in my passport, I want to be a EU citizen again 🇪🇺

Imagine the shock for those rapturously applauding when they find out according to international Human Rights Watch the UK could soon make the list of countries that abuse rather than protect human rights thanks to this governments outright onslaught on the rights of its own citizens - just think about that - during the past eighteen months this government has robbed millions of workers of their right to strike, locked millions of people out of the electoral process - a blatant act of voter suppression by the government and stripped back our right to protest about it - and when you hear the argument that we can just leave the ECHR and create our own bill of rights please remember that presupposes we can actually trusting the government with our human rights in the first place - and this government has shown us time and time again that we can’t!

@1968Tv Sad. One of my favourite experiences came as a student in late 70s Leicester. Having drawn twice Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday played at neutral Filbert Street, over 3 further replays in just over a week. 2-2, 3-3 before Arsenal prevailed 2-0. The 3-3 was a classic.
