June 14, 2026 marks four years since Cambodian-American lawyer and human rights defender Theary Seng was imprisoned in Cambodia. A survivor of the Khmer Rouge genocide, she transformed personal tragedy into a lifelong commitment to justice, democracy, and human rights. Her courage continues to inspire people around the world. We call for her immediate release.

RFI Khmer reporter @ChoupNoraksa reported that Cambodian Interior Minister Sar Sokha spent over $300,000 to hire two US law firms to prevent his name from being added to the US sanctions list over his alleged associations with scam kingpin Chen Zhi. https://t.co/ulvhMNEW9Y
There's a lot of pressure on the Hun dynasty to shut down Cambodia's booming cyber scam industry. But in my latest for @ForeignPolicy I ask a question: Can the country's rotten status quo survive going cold turkey on fraud, and what happens if it can't?

@PaulKolli@GrogsGamut Which part of the difference are we referring to? Serious harm? Or concerns notice? I’m pretty happy with my understanding of the differences. Bottom line … why should a person from WA launch defamation outside WA?
I welcome the return to Australia of the remaining members of the "Bali 9." But, as with the group of women and children brought back from the camps in Syria, there is a striking discrepancy between the kind of support which is offered to them, and that offered to Australians returning home from wrongful detention abroad.
According to @theage the returned Bali 9 will "live in short-term accommodation facilitated by the government" with "access to medical help and support services."
This is a great step, but at the end of the day the Bali 9 are legitimately convicted drug smugglers. Australians who are unjustly detained deserve a similar level of government interest, support and investment. Right now, many of them arrive home to nothing.
@MechDara1's arrest is a blatant attack on press freedom, not a “security concern.” Nothing but an attempt to mask their fear of the truth. Journalism isn’t a crime—exposing corruption & cybercrime is vital for Cambodia’s future. Release Mech Dara now! #PressFreedom#FreeMechDara

Every excuse has been given by Western democracies @AusEmbPP@ukincambodia@FranceCambodge to overlook rights/political crackdowns. Meanwhile the regime consistently shows it’s incapable of any reforms. Time for accountability. #Cambodia https://t.co/q817CPvYBx
@PaulBongiorno@macsween_prue@AlboMP Nice one, Bongi. It’s great to see you’re still out there challenging all the negative stereotypes associated with misogyny and the priesthood.
@DianeDromgold@PaulBongiorno@macsween_prue@AlboMP But here’s the thing, @DianeDromgold … sadly, he’s proven on any number of occasions in the past, that he is actually not better than that. MacSween’s comment was in the gutter. Bongi dragged them both into the sewer.
Dom Perrottet again demonstrating he’s a genuinely class act. “The treasurer who inspired Perrottet? NSW Labor great Michael Egan” https://t.co/DQT1oA8zKm
