@KeegansBurner right, because sitting in a publicly available seat and being smart enough to decode the signs that the other 100,000 people in the stadium can also see is just an unfathomable concept.
@LGRWProspects@JD_Jerbear this is absolutely their biggest issue. by year 7 the culture and identity of the team should be crystal clear. his FA/trade moves have no coherence and no direction. bargain bin signings and overpays.
@JFreshHockey yeah, wings fans are willingly blind because it's yzerman. reality is he's underperformed. been 7 years. at the very least this team should have some kind of identity. they don't. the faulk trade was mind blowing. and if your plan is to draft and develop, then play the young guys
@ByEricPratt hilarious. getting "bothered" by this. bothered by what? you hate where college hoops is right now? who cares. suck it up. the portal exists. NIL exists. people are going to transfer and get paid. be bothered all you want. either adapt or be in a perpetual state of being bothered
@DamonDawg they weren't nobodies. everyone knew they were talented. that's not the point. the point is they were underappreciated by their teams and cast aside. mara was a bench guy. johnson didn't get many minutes. cadeau was hated on by the fans and run out. dusty fit them all together.
@ByEricPratt Well Eric, highly recruited has nothing to do with being a cast off. Mara was a bench player. Johnson got no minutes at Illinois. Cadeau was run out of UNC. They are all talented, everyone knows this. But they were still unwanted by their respective teams.
@daily_msu that's not the point. mara was a bench player at UCLA. Johnson got like 7 minutes a game at illinois. Cadeau was run out of UNC. he's not saying they weren't talented, he's saying they were castoffs from their respective teams and dusty has done a masterful job coaching them up.
@choffstein Hi Corey - thanks for sharing. Great paper. Was curious if you had any thoughts on their conclusion that Carry doesn't seem to be a very effective diversifier to overlay (unless I'm misreading), given that it's a core RS product.
