Talk about low hanging fruit! Her foundational lack of economic understanding, famously demonstrated whenever she attempts to explain basic concepts like taxation, inflation, or federal budgets without a pre-written script, would instantly collapse under the pressure of a real debate. She remains the crowning product of progressive branding over substance, an actor coached by activist handlers who stumbles the moment she strays from staged photo-ops and social media clips.

Beyond the guaranteed electoral victory, the campaign cycle itself would be pure political comedy. Imagine the BabylonBee field days. Conservative strategists would not even need to produce polished opposition ads; they could simply run unedited video of her speaking off the cuff about energy policy, foreign relations, or constitutional law. Placing her radical agenda on full display before working-class voters in Rust Belt (Rust Belt is a region in the United States historically dominated by heavy industry) battleground states would completely shatter the Democratic Party's coalition, driving moderate swing voters away in droves while unifying the right. An AOC nomination would turn the electoral map deep red, transforming the election into a historic blowout and making the entire season the most entertaining spectacle in modern political history.

It turns out Quarles Harris worked for a security company called The Analysis Corporation (TAC).

Who was TAC’s CEO? John Brennan.

At the time, Brennan was also serving as an adviser to the Obama campaign.

Manufactured birth certificate?

Obama was in and out of Pakistan during the exact same period that John Brennan was in Pakistan working for the CIA.

Where was Barry from 1981 to 1982?

Obama claimed he was at Columbia University, but, according to this account, there is not a shred of evidence that he was. No records. No school documentation. Nothing.

After the State Department breach, Obama acknowledged that he had traveled to Pakistan in 1981.

In addition, John Brennan wasn’t the only person with CIA ties in Pakistan at the same time. So was Zbigniew Brzezinski, the father of Mika Brzezinski.

Barack Obama later appointed both men to serve on his presidential transition advisory team.

Brennan then served as Obama’s Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from January 2009 to March 2013 before ultimately becoming Director of the CIA

Three years later, in 2016, they orchestrated the single greatest misinformation and disinformation campaign to overthrow the U.S. government.

Trey Franklin Mason, 25, and David Anthony Downing, 34, both of Waldorf, face charges after detectives recovered over 100 bronze vases stolen from Trinity Memorial Gardens in Charles County.

The thefts occurred in June and early July and are valued at more than $100,000.

Authorities say the pair targeted the cemetery on multiple occasions, damaging headstones and leaving grieving families without the memorials placed for their loved ones.

Mason was arrested July 9 and Downing on July 16. Both are charged with theft scheme, destruction of property, fraud and related offenses and are being held without bond.

Stealing from the dead for scrap metal is a special kind of low.

These men picked the graves of Maryland families as their target.

Reality Denied

Elon Musk’s interview with The Economist exposed a political absurdity: basic common sense now sounds radical because the elite progressive left has spent years treating reality as a nuisance rather than a guide. Secure borders, safe streets, fiscal restraint, and institutional competence are not fringe positions. They are the minimum requirements of a serious society.

That is why the debate has become so warped. Too much of the progressive left now operates in a post-factual universe, where ideology is treated as evidence and evidence is treated as negotiable. In that environment, ordinary standards of order and accountability are recast as oppression, while failure is excused with slogans.

The same argument would be celebrated as wisdom if Obama made it and denounced as extremism when Trump does.

The result is a public discourse detached from consequences. If you point out that uncontrolled migration strains public services, that crime affects working families first, or that governments cannot borrow and spend forever, you are no longer making a practical argument. You are accused of hostility, ignorance, or worse.

Musk’s real value in this conversation is not that he is universally right. Which he is. It is that he forces the confrontation between reality and rhetoric. And once that confrontation happens, the weakness of the left’s worldview becomes obvious: it can explain feelings, but it cannot reliably explain facts.

The middle of the political spectrum has not become more extreme. The left has simply moved so far from reality that common sense now looks like rebellion.

Ukraine in comparison started in the same place and stayed poor.

The difference was one finance minister who lifted price controls, cut subsidies, and unleashed private business overnight.

Leszek Balcerowicz launched SHOCK THERAPY in January 1990.

Monthly inflation crashed from over 20% to under 3% in less than a year.

Output fell hard first, then growth returned by 1992.

By 2016, Poland’s income per person hit $12,700 while Ukraine lagged far behind.

The pain hit immediately, but so did the results.

And 35 years later, they’re on the path to achieving what was unthinkable in 1990 by overtaking many Western European countries in living standards within the next few years.

The Wright brothers invented powered flight at Kitty Hawk in December 1903, and then they spent the next decade making sure nobody else in America could improve on it.

After building the first airplane, they built an army of lawyers, not better airplanes. Orville and Wilbur secured U.S. Patent 821,393 in 1906, a patent so broad it claimed the very concept of lateral control, and they used it as a club. When Glenn Curtiss developed ailerons (a genuinely superior system to the Wrights' wing-warping), they sued him into oblivion. The litigation dragged from 1909 through 1917. Curtiss burned his energy on courtrooms in Buffalo instead of wind tunnels.

Let's measure the result. By August 1914 France fielded roughly 1,400 military aircraft. Germany had around 1,000. The United States, birthplace of the airplane, mustered fewer than 30 serviceable machines, and most of them were obsolete.

Patents are state grants of monopoly, and monopoly does what monopoly always does: it freezes the incumbent in place and taxes everyone who wants to build on his work. In France, Louis Blériot, Gabriel Voisin, and the Farman brothers competed openly, copying and refining each other's designs. Competition compounds knowledge. Legal privilege hoards it.

Washington eventually noticed that its "arsenal of democracy" couldn't produce a decent warplane. So in 1917 the government forced a patent pool, the Manufacturers Aircraft Association, to break the logjam it had created in the first place. The government fixed the wreckage of its own privilege. You will see that pattern again.

The lesson holds. Patents stifle innovation. It always has and always will. Innovation is not a thing you protect. It is a thing you permit. As always, government intervention makes things worse, not better.

Mamdani just set off a devastating domino effect with his new tax on the second homes of the wealthy in New York City. He's bragging about forcing those evil capitalists to pay their fair share so the City can fund more libraries. But has he ever actually done the MATH? And I mean real math, not socialist math. Because the rich homeowners will do the real math. And they'll LEAVE.

Socialist math ALWAYS leads to suffering for the very people it promised to lift up. Here's what Mamdani just set into motion:

First, high-end owners will just dump their properties. Why pay the tax when it's cheaper to rent a nice hotel? And they'll sell low because 1) NOBODY wants to pay that tax, so buyers will just factor it into the property's cost and offer less, and 2) the longer the sellers wait to sell, the more they're being taxed. So, selling low is cheaper. Because math.

That will drive down luxury property values citywide. Sounds great, right? Well... unless you're a developer. Let's say you've already gotten funding from the bank to build new housing, including that affordable housing the socialists love so much. But now, the expensive units at the top of the building won't sell for nearly as much as the bank was hoping for. So, they run the math and the project stops.

Now, all that's left is a giant hole. And all those people hired to build that building - hundreds of excavators, plumbers, electricians, and ironworkers - just lost their jobs, their hourly paychecks, and their pension credits for the year.

From there, it's more basic math - supply and demand. The supply doesn't get built, so the demand increases and the rent for other affordable units goes up. The policy sold as "pro-working class" just made their lives more expensive.

But at least the City will generate more taxes for the libraries, right? Nope. The rich will dump their second homes, so there goes that tax money. Nobody will want to buy that property as a second home, so maybe it will sell to someone living there full time. That's a win by Mamdani's math, but it also means nobody's paying that tax anymore. And also, all those people who just lost their jobs won't be paying taxes either. But hey, at least you stuck it to the capitalists!

That's socialism in a nutshell. Thanks, Mamdani.
