@dirk_fasshauer@Claudia_4456 No resentment.
Geography. It’s a thing.
“Travel around Europe” is a performative post.
Your limited view is biased to dead Europe.
No thanks.
Too many Europeans.
@JohnWight1 This quality of life trope? Polling data, right?
Nationwide announcements made. “Let’s tell everyone we’re the best.”
Europe is a continent of nanny states. Welfare.
If that’s your thing, have at it.
Welfare is not a flex.
@Martina That’s a benefit of social welfare and higher taxes, yes? The nanny-state provides this “benefit.”
It’s a European thing rooted in class warfare and Europe 1945.
The US ain’t Europe.
@Frid45 The US doesn’t need public transport in most cities. Fact. We drive automobiles.
Violent crime is a problem. Sure.
Aging infrastructure? Compared to Europe?
Ghost towns?
Your life expectancy is what, 3% higher? Is that a flex?
Your continent of Nanny states is a mess.
@coachdribbledri@tobiaschneider Haven’t been able to refute anything as of yet? I’m disappointed.
Was hoping you were going to defend the state of the state. Heat got you down?
Anyway…
No dice.
A US’less NATO is dead on arrival. Good luck.
@CAM08594808@dirk_fasshauer@Claudia_4456 The size of the US coupled with,
- holidays in the US vs Europe are wildly different. A quick jaunt to Italy from Switzerland is like Chicago to Atlanta. Same travel time. A Yank doesn’t need to go to Europe to explore.
Geography. It’s a thing.
The US to Columbia, etc.
@BlkNaCl Bullshit
Don’t speak for all the countries. Populist politics is rising everywhere; immigration scares some of you the most, afraid of losing your homogeneous society; your welfare state has budgeted 80-85% to go to subsidies, this is not sustainable.
@dirk_fasshauer@Claudia_4456 Say more…
“Uneducated?”
My curiosities would be mesoamerican history, perhaps whale watching in Alaska. Some trekking in Idaho or renting g a home for 6 months in Montevideo.
You have to be pretty uneducated and very European to think Europe is everything. Travel much?
