@gabsmashh Energy-all needed. There isn’t perfect alignment of shareholder interests and customer dependency on energy. Regulations should define minimum standards to protect critical infrastructure. Industry should collaborate to define best practice and all should aspire to exceed them.

Hard to see how capping the price of renewable energy in Europe to 20c/KWh is going to accelerate the energy transition. In the first 8 months of this year over 60TWh of zero carbon energy were switched to coal, lignite and gas in the EU.
