@ASPolice Did he shoot himself? Did the gun misfire and injure him? Was the man in hospital in fact “shot”? It’s not really clear is it? All those scenarios fit within your statement.
What’s wrong with saying the man was shot? So we’re all clear.
@Scott_Wortley I guess is that what they really want to do (the complex bits that would meet resistance in the Lords) is in the second paragraph of the BBC’s report; whereas the simple version is to address Mandelson only.
@PrometheusCHT@PrometheusAM If it’s a yes no question: then - yes - it does undermine the criticism. You specifically picked on the bbc as an example, yet they are leading with the story!
There’s plenty to criticise them for lately but perhaps too early to do so on this subject.
So a Toyota RAV4 PHEV (which I always wanted but couldn’t afford) will probably do about 500 miles on a tank of petrol. Of which about 45 miles max might be on electric.
So that owner will pay £7.50 per 500miles under the new proposals….
@createstreets@SCP_Hughes@boys_nicholas Part O doesn’t say the window must be 1.1m from the floor, it says the guarding must be. So a Juliet balcony with the correct balustrade is legal in England isn’t it?
@Dan_YIMBY@createstreets Provided the balustrade is high enough and the glass of sufficient r-value, it can be built.
That’s what I took from that substack.
@twlldun Speaking of numbers that make you go hang on that doesn’t sound right? Assuming people aren’t having more than one a day, that’s 1 in 35 people having an xray every day.
@sigourneybeaver Sorry for answering your question by not really answering it!
I bought a random pair once from somewhere like Sports Direct and was off the road for months recovering!
@sigourneybeaver The wrong shoes, for me, would cause ankle/knee/hip/shin pain (*delete as appropriate!)
I would only now buy from an independent running specialist. My local one will give guidance on the arch support I need and try any number. I can return them if not worn outside.
