BREAKING: Documents received from DOJ this morning confirm that Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team followed the facts and the law in their efforts to uncover the full scope of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and their allies' efforts to keep Trump in power after he lost the 2020 elections—including their efforts to recruit Members of Congress.

As the prosecutors' memo states: "Our investigation suggests that Trump and Giuliani reached out to various Members in the period surrounding January 6 to ask or pressure them to delay the certification of the electoral college vote—including, in some cases, on the night of January 6, in the hour before the Congress resumed the Joint Session after the attack on the Capitol. We have ample predication to seek these records, and have selected a narrow time period to reduce the chance of capturing activity unrelated to January 6."

Jack Smith and his team of prosecutors and investigators upheld their oath and investigated crimes without fear or favor. Smith has offered to testify publicly because he has nothing to hide. Can Republican Members of Congress say the same?

The FBI just released documents in the J6 Insurrection investigation, showing again that DOJ and FBI followed the trail of evidence Trump and others left behind as they conspired to "obstruct, influence, and impede" the certification of the 2020 presidential election.
