@MissEddie_Educ @IUNC Students love being able to put their learning to real-world issues and this is a fantastic idea to do that. Implementing math into the project is fantastic to help strengthen their knowledge about the issue.

@teacher12111767 I sometimes feel left behind with technology, students these days pick these things up so quickly which is good cause they definitely need to know how to function in society.

@teacher12111767 Yes. Inquiry based learning is one of the best pedagogies to be implemented. I like that it is student lead and the approach uses their strengths while they work on their way on skills they want to strengthen.

@MissBTeaching_ It’s amazing how many sharks are unfortunate victims to the fishing industry. And their fins are still considered a delicacy in Japan which is sad. But what is the best thing to do regarding the fishing industry? They also say fishing farms are also harmful.

@MissBTeaching_ I’ll admit I may be a tad fearful of sharks but they really are an amazingly graceful creature. Without them the ocean food chain would crumble.

@AlanaRo93529970 The last class I had used a light system for zone of regulation, next to each light they had a zone and the lights changed depending on where the teacher thought the class as a whole was.

@AlanaRo93529970 @Smiling_Mind I am not sure how to implement the ICT outside of school but I have found that low SES schools are usually given grants that they use to buy ICT hardware such as iPads, Chrome books as such. I know it isn't prefect but it is a good start for these students.

@MelindaUon The best thing is they could probably also offer handouts and other resources for these people to take away with them to help them.
