The idea that stocks go up because of currency debasement made necessary by debt is a dual justification for both crypto and stonks HODL among the WSB crowd. This is an extrapolation from a kernel of truth, as are most strongly held beliefs.

Currency debasement is not new.
So I analyzed this at length and wrote about it.
@jonesdel@swd2 “trolling” is conservatives way of white washing what the fuel behind this behavior is
which is sadism
4 dark personality traits explain most republicans;
sadism, psychopathy, machiavellianism, narcissism
some have a mix and others lean more pure
it explains everything
@LynAldenContact it has Lyn, just put the maga hat on and close your eyes

We all knew he was lying about the Reflecting Pool. The problem is that he lies so often that it’s almost impossible to keep up.
So I asked AI to compile claims from just the past twenty-four months and then checked them against official data, contemporaneous reporting and independent fact-checks.
Here is a partial list of 86 lies:
1. He promised to bring prices down “starting on Day One.” Grocery prices remained high and continued rising.
2. After winning, he admitted that prices are very hard to bring down once they have gone up.
3. He said egg prices had fallen 93 percent. They had not fallen remotely close to 93 percent.
4. He said he inherited the highest inflation in American history. He inherited an annual inflation rate of 2.9 percent.
5. When corrected, he changed the claim to the worst inflation in 49 years. That was also false. Annual inflation reached 23.7 percent in 1920.
6. He said there was virtually no inflation during his first term. Consumer prices rose approximately 8 percent.
7. He repeatedly claimed he had already brought inflation down, including during periods when the annual inflation rate was higher than the 2.9 percent reported shortly before he took office.
8. He told Congress inflation was “plummeting.” Prices were still rising overall, including major household expenses such as housing, electricity and medical care.
9. He claimed to have secured $18 trillion in new investment.
10. He then raised the figure to $19.2 trillion.
11. Even the White House’s own tracker listed far less, and its total included multiyear pledges, purchasing agreements, previously announced projects and commitments that might never become actual US investment.
12. He said America was building more factories than ever.
13. He said factory construction was rising.
14. He said the country had achieved its highest growth ever. Manufacturing employment declined, factory-construction claims depended on cherry-picked categories, and economic growth was nowhere near a historical record.
15. He called the country he inherited a dead country. The US economy grew 2.8 percent in 2024, faster than every other major wealthy economy except Spain.
16. He says foreign countries pay his tariffs. American importers pay them and frequently pass the cost on to American consumers.
17. He said the evidence overwhelmingly showed consumers did not pay his tariffs. Economic studies found that American consumers and businesses absorbed nearly all their cost.
18. He said tariff revenue came with “no inflation.” Prices continued rising, and economic research found that the tariffs themselves increased costs for American consumers and businesses.
19. He repeatedly said drug prices were down 70, 80 or 90 percent. No broad measure of prescription-drug prices showed anything close to those reductions.
20. He said Medicaid was “left the same.” The Congressional Budget Office estimated that the legislation would reduce federal Medicaid spending by roughly $930 billion over ten years.
21. He said Americans were “not going to feel any of it.” The Congressional Budget Office projected that the legislation would leave approximately 11.8 million more people uninsured.
22. He said the Medicaid changes touched only waste, fraud and abuse. Independent analyses found that the legislation reduced coverage and federal spending far beyond fraudulent claims.
23. He said he had eliminated taxes on Social Security. The law created a temporary deduction, unavailable to many beneficiaries, that expires after 2028. It did not abolish taxation of Social Security benefits.
24. He said taxes would rise 68 percent without his bill. No credible independent estimate came close to supporting that figure.
25. He then declared, “I’ve kept all my promises and much more.”
26. He publicly promised at least 53 times to end the Ukraine war within 24 hours, or even before taking office.
Continued in replies…
65. He said Biden allowed 25 million migrants into the country. The government recorded fewer than 11 million border encounters during Biden’s term, and encounters included repeat attempts and people who were expelled or removed.
66. He said Biden let in 11,888 murderers. The figure came from an immigration docket covering people who entered the country over several decades and under multiple presidents, including Trump.
67. He said King Charles agreed with him on Iran “even more than I do.” Buckingham Palace promptly clarified that the King remains politically neutral and acts on the advice of Britain’s elected government.
68. He said his ballroom “won’t interfere with the current building. It’ll be near it but not touching it.” His project then demolished the East Wing, the East Colonnade and other parts of the White House grounds.
69. He called the White House UFC event one of the most watched fights in history. Its reported audience was far below several recent boxing events.
70. He said a perfect score on a dementia screening test proved his “extreme intelligence.” The test asks patients to identify animals, recall words and draw a clock.
71. He asked crowds to remember a nationwide television blackout supposedly caused by windless turbines during the 2024 presidential debate. No such blackout occurred.
72. He spent years suggesting the Epstein records would incriminate Democrats and promising disclosure. When demands for release turned toward his own administration, he called the controversy a Democratic hoax.
73. He called it “a Democrat hoax that never ends” while Epstein’s victims stood on Capitol Hill asking his administration to release the records.
74. He denied writing the birthday message attributed to him. Epstein’s estate later provided Congress with the birthday book containing the disputed letter and signature. The document exists. Whether he authored it remains contested.
75. A New York Times review found his name mentioned more than 38,000 times in the three million pages his own Justice Department released. He says the files are fake. His own department released them.
76. He said vandals slashed the Reflecting Pool with a knife, then a box cutter, then a razor.
77. He described the liner as so strong no knife could cut it while simultaneously insisting that someone had cut it with a knife.
78. His Justice Department moved to dismiss the case against 67-year-old former Olympian David Hearn after evidence showed that flawed, rushed installation had caused widespread peeling and damage.
79. Trump responded that he disagreed “100 percent” with his own prosecutors’ conclusion.
80. He says the 2020 election was stolen. Recounts, audits, dozens of failed lawsuits, his own attorney general and members of his administration found no evidence capable of changing the result.
81. He says he won the presidency three times. He won twice.
82. He says he won the popular vote all three times. He lost it in 2016 and 2020.
83. A joint statement issued by federal and state election-security officials, including his own administration’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, called the 2020 election the most secure in American history.
84: He mocked that conclusion in a primetime address while again claiming that the election had been stolen.
85. The same speech warned of shocking vulnerabilities in American elections but offered no new evidence that widespread fraud had occurred or that the 2020 result was illegitimate.
86. He claimed hundreds of thousands of noncitizens were registered to vote. Election officials and data experts said the government’s matching method produced unverified potential matches, not proof that those people were noncitizens or had cast ballots.
@ibuycompounders@KobeissiLetter supreme court is stacked for republicans
trump wouldnt have the balls to do this unless he knew the supreme court had his back
republicans are traitors
NOBODY TEACHES YOU HOW TO ACTUALLY TELL IF A COMPANY IS A GOOD BUY.
Most people look at a low P/E, a hot sector, or whatever is trending here.
Here is the real process:
87% of Amazon and Google’s net income came from paper gains in their OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX investments.
As a result, they’re now trading at 19x and 17x earnings, falsely implying they’re historically cheap.
Valuation metrics have been compromised by AI.
Health is a currency that’s meant to be spent. Ironically, many people obsessed with “being healthy” avoid the very things their health was supposed to buy them. Dinner with friends, spontaneous trips, grandma’s cookies, late nights. They hoard it like preservation is the goal. But currency doesn’t gain value sitting untouched. The WHOLE value is in what it lets you do. It’s the equivalent of working & sacrificing your entire life only to die with millions in a bank that have never been spent. Nobody calls that a win
BOOM: WAKE UP PEOPLE: James Talarico stood before Texas and said the quiet part out loud: Trans people are 1%, undocumented people are 1%, Muslims are 1%—we’re focused on the wrong 1%.
Billionaires and their puppet politicians pick our pockets while dividing us. Texas is listening and rallying.
Dr. King wasn’t un-alived just for being Black—he was un-alived for uniting poor people of every color against the same 1% that still thinks they own us.
Our unity is the threat. Their division is the strategy.
Texas just chose the facts.
This guy bought a $400 Mac mini and walked into a coffee shop with $2,100 for installing an AI agent that never touches the internet.
I had to rewatch this because the pitch is almost too simple. He shows up, plugs in the Mac mini, installs a local AI agent running entirely through Ollama, done in under an hour. Zero cloud dependency, no API bills, no monthly charges bleeding the client dry. The coffee shop owner gets a private AI system that keeps working even if the WiFi dies, and he walks out with $2,100 for an install that takes less time than a long lunch.
The hardware cost him $400. One deployment and the machine's already paid for five times over. Then he locks in a monthly retainer for support, somewhere around $100-150, which means every client after the first is close to pure margin stacking on top of recurring revenue.
Most people hear "AI business" and think they need to build a SaaS platform or learn to code or raise funding from someone. This skips all of that and goes straight to walking into coffee shops with a Mac mini under one arm.
Not a company that scales to a billion dollars, obviously, but a solo operator clearing a few thousand a month from local installs while everyone else is still arguing about which LLM is best on Twitter.
OPENAI IS GOING TO TAKE THIS ENTIRE MARKET DOWN WITH IT
And you don't have to own a single share to get hurt.
What I'm about to explain should worry anybody who thinks they're diversified:
OpenAI is a LOAD-BEARING company. Pull it out and the whole structure comes down.
They spent $17.2 billion on Microsoft Azure in calendar 2025, which is 69% of Microsoft's entire year-over-year growth. Take that one customer out and Azure grew 8%, which barely beats inflation.
Now look at what Microsoft just reported:
The backlog everyone is celebrating came in at $678 billion, up 84%, and the stock ripped. Sounds fantastic until you realize that when you exclude OpenAI the backlog grew only 25%.
Back in January, when that number was $625 billion, roughly $281 billion of it was owed by one private company nobody can audit.
And Oracle is in even WORSE shape.
Something like $300 billion of its backlog, more than half, rides on the same counterparty.
So you think you own Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, CoreWeave, Nvidia and SoftBank?
What you actually own is the same trade 6 different ways, and every leg of it runs back to one company that burns cash and still cannot go public.
The people with real money are already backing out.
Julien Garran pointed out that Masayoshi Son could not get a $10 billion bridge loan against his own OpenAI shares. Think about that for a second, because nobody says no to that man.
Blue Owl walked away from a $10 billion Oracle financing. Three months ago the banks were dancing near the door and now they are walking through it.
Then there is Julien's depreciation work, which makes this even worse:
Run the capex schedule out and hyperscaler net income falls 98% by 2033. To break even they would need to build 20 killer apps inside 6 years. Another Google Search. Another YouTube. Another Office.
They have not built ONE.
If OpenAI cannot go public in the next 8 months, they are dead.
Whenever you see hubris and debt in the same room, run, don't walk.

And he did it all by writing a prophetic essay, going all-in on the power-and-compute bottleneck, and riding the AI wave harder and faster than almost anyone.
Leopold Aschenbrenner is absolutely insane
The midterms are this simple:
Biden and Democrats inherited a poorly managed pandemic, massive job loss, and a ruined economy from Trump in 2021.
They added jobs every month, the pandemic recovery went better than in peer nations, and by 2024 the US economy was dubbed the Envy of the World and was so strong it improved the entire global outlook.
That was what Republicans and Trump inherited.
Then, they slammed the brakes on the economy, killed job growth, drove up inflation, made healthcare far more expensive, kicked one million children off of food assistance, started an illegal war, angered our allies, and made the nation sick from cuts to health inspections and disease monitoring, not to mention the rampant corruption that has enriched the president and his family with billions of dollars.
The midterms are your chance to change this.
It is time to vote those who have failed us out of power.
