I've tried to read up on the bombing some, since I was a kid here when it happened (and remember it fairly well)... but it's different seeing it as an adult. Will need to read this book!

In 2010 I was rejected from 110 entry-level jobs while I worked as a nanny, went on food-stamps & suffered through a break-up (w/ my now husband). I paid $400/month toward school loans (interest only) & had a $100/month "healthcare plan" w/ a $14,000 deductible.

I'm SO THANKFUL for the doors God opened & the way things changed over this decade, but I will likely never forget the terror of living through those years. I'm still learning to trust. If you wonder why I pile on jobs like it's going out of style, now you know!

@christyfrink And that's with the US birthrate currently being the lowest it's been in 32 years... I could be wrong but I predict the US birthrate continues to decline (or levels off for a while) until there's an economic turn. Kids are $$$
