When the Fed unveils their QT plan, remember these points:
A) Run-off or sales? If run-off, watch the pace
B) If sales, watch for the duration risk being sold
C) The Treasury issuance strategy
D) What happens to RRP and TGA?

In layman's terms, you're going to be wrong a lot. Be humble. Know that and you can get out of the way...mostly.
And when your strategy is right, when it's firing (your edge), exploit it, push hard. While pushing, don't forget the first rule...you will be wrong at some point.
Most people in financial space keep searching for holy grail of trading/investing.
Just doesn't exist!
The strategy you develop is there to provide an edge, to tilt the odds in your favor.
The job of a trader is to exploit the edge when it comes. And to know the edge is thin!

The problem most traders have is that they want to take something home every day.
But sometimes the market is in a giving mood, and sometimes it's not.
You gotta respect that.
