@guardian I am scrolling down your Israel/Gaza news page and not one article mentions the Hezbollah attack on a football pitch in Israel that killed 12 Children and wounded over 40. You truly are a disgrace and a bunch of Anti Semites.
@barak_ehud you are a disgrace to Israel. We don't need you coming on to our Radio stations in UK painting a terrible picture of Israel. Leave politics alone for now and bring the nation together.
"My 20-year-old daughter Adar, an officer, commander and combat soldier in the Search and Rescue Brigade, heard on October 7 that terrorists had infiltrated her military base. With great determination, she and her friends defended 120 newly enlisted soldiers. Adar directed all of them to the shelter and went bravely to fight the terrorists. Please share her story in her memory.” -Zehava (Adar Ben Simon's mother)
May Adar's memory forever be a blessing🕯️
A fact that goes missed:
In the Palestinian state in Gaza there was no Israeli “occupation” whatsoever.
Not one inch.
Not one Israeli soldier or civilian.
In 2005 Israel officially left the entire Gaza Strip to the very last inch.
We pulled out ALL Israelis and ALL IDF soldiers.
We pulled back to the 1949 borders.
At first, we applied no blockade or siege.
We handed the keys over to the Palestinian authority.
At that point they had an opportunity to turn Gaza into an amazing and beautiful state.
A Singapore with beautiful beaches, hotels, tourism, business and culture.
They chose otherwise.
A majority of Palestinians voted Hamas whose explicit goal is to destroy Israel.
Hamas won both in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria (aka “the West Bank”).
They began shooting rockets from their new state into Israel.
Tens of thousands of rockets killed children and citizens of Israel, ever since.
THEY CHOSE DEATH FOR JEWS OVER LIFE FOR PALESTINIANS.
Their goal has never been to live side-by-side Israel, but to destroy Israel.
For the past 20 years Israelis hoped again and again that our neighbours seek happiness for their families and this will ultimately moderate them.
We Israelis believe in the inherent goodness of humans.
We were wrong.
Dead wrong.
This is the tough reality we’re facing.
This is a battle between an ideology of life and one of death.
We say “le-Haim” - to life.
We say “Shalom” - peace.
They say “itbach el yahud” - slaughter the Jews.
This is our reality of 2023.
Let me be clear: all Israelis, wall-to-wall are now united to bring total defeat to the terrorists agents of death.
Life will prevail over death.
Please don’t try to stop us, because we won’t until we win.
Am Yisrael Chai🇮🇱
The Shifa Hospital is not only the largest hospital in Gaza but it also acts as the main headquarters for Hamas’ terrorist activity.
Terrorism does not belong in a hospital and the IDF will operate to uncover any terrorist infrastructure.
Journalists in tears as IDF shows them body cam footage of massacres by Hamas terrorists on Oct 7 with civilians and soldiers being shot, stabbed, tortured and burned merely because they were Jewish.
Their corpses were bound, gagged and riddled with bullet holes and knife wounds.
In one clip, a Hamas terrorist throws a grenade at a father and his son. The blast kills the father, while the young boy is covered in his blood. The child is dragged inside and forced to sit next to his brother, whose eye is a bloody mess after being subjected to horrific torture. One of the boys sobs: 'Why am I alive?'
Other footage shows IDF soldiers beheaded with their headless corpses left splayed in the streets, while a contingent of female soldiers were injured by a grenade then shot at point blank range.
A Hamas gunman brags on the the phone to his parents about 'killing 10 Jews'. He is using phone of a Jewish woman who has just been murdered and boasts that he 'is a hero' after killing Israelis with his 'own hands'.
We are told that most Palestinians do not support Hamas.
Very well.
Where then are the large scale Palestinian protests demanding Hamas release the abducted hostages - children, toddlers, grandparents, civilians - immediately and unconditionally?
Where then is the sole Palestinian protester standing in Times or Trafalgar Square with a sign that says “Not in My Name”?
Where is the one Palestinian intellectual who will write an op-ed expressing deep shame that acts of the greatest cruelty in human history were carried out in the name of “Free Palestine” and “From the River to the Sea”?
If the PLO, Fatah and Palestinian Authority represent moderate Palestinians, where is the outcry? The horror? The heartfelt denunciations? Why must international pressure be fruitlessly brought to bear to try to elicit even a pale shadow of them?
If Hamas is not supported in Gaza, where then is the Palestinian in Gaza who will come forth with information about the hostages?
Even in Nazi Germany, when some Germans understood that Hitler was bringing disaster on their country, there were those who attempted to assassinate him. Where are the Palestinians in Gaza who will take action against Hamas?
And why is it that the instinctive response of so many to these questions is to make excuses as to why not even one of these things should be expected of any Palestinian anywhere?
We finally have courageous Arab and Muslim inspirational voices expressing those feelings and ideas. Why then is so little expected of Palestinians?
@newsisrael13 I live in Manchester England. I am listening to your reporting about BBC, sky etc and the Foreign media. I would love to talk to you about how they are reporting and how anti Israel they are and how it is effecting Jews living outside Israel. אני מדבר עברית
So now we know:
- There was no Israeli airstrike.
- It was Islamic Jihad who misfired a rocket.
- It was a parking lot, not a hospital.
- It was about 20 people killed, not 500.
Lesson learned: terrorists who rape, murder and sever heads of babies, might also lie.
@SkyNews Why do you let the people you are interviewing get away with blatant lies with any questioning.
A Palastian humanitarian person lied saying the Israeli defence minister said all palastians are animals who need to be killed. The death toll figures (always only women/children)
Let me say this in the clearest possible terms. If you’re concerned with Israel’s response, if you’re focused on the people of Gaza right now, you’re either ignorant or intentionally hypocritical.
2005: Israel handed Gaza over on a silver platter. No “occupation”, no Israeli presence, nothing. 100% theirs. If they wanted anything other than dead Jews, they had the chance.
In what world is it normal to demand a country provide water and electricity to its enemy when there is clear evidence that they are using those water pipes to create rockets that then kill Israelis?
You’re worried about the electricity and water in Gaza? You can provide it. Don’t want to? Then keep your mouth shut.
They have nowhere to go those poor Palestinians? Why don’t you go look at a map? They have a border with Egypt. Let them take them in if they care so much.
Oh, Egypt doesn’t want them? Did you hear that? That was my heart breaking for them. Egypt can take them. They don’t want them? Not my problem.
You’re worried about a disproportionate response by Israel? Kindly tell me what a proportionate response would look like.
Because if we did what they did to us, that would require the murder, abduction, and rape of over a thousand people.
Is that what you’re recommending Israel does? Because that’s pretty sick of you.
And once and for all, we need to unequivocally reject the false narrative of “They’re not all Hamas supporters so Israel has no right to attack Gaza.”
A- The Palestinian people elected Hamas. Make up your mind. If they’re a people who you believe deserve a state then it’s time you held them accountable as a people. They elected Hamas. They will pay for that tragic decision.
B- The Palestinian people, not 100, 1,000, or 10,000 of them, give out candies when innocent Jews are murdered. Have you seen thousands of Palestinians speaking out against Hamas? I haven’t. Where are they? Their silence is all I need to know.
C- In every war in the history of the world, innocent people die. That fact, as sad as it might be, has zero relevance to whether the war is justified or not. Need I remind you how many innocent Germans died in WWII? Israel is fighting Nazis now. Zero difference. In war, innocent people die.
D- And finally, don’t come at me with the whole “They can’t speak out. Hamas will kill them.”
Where have we heard that before? “I was just fulfilling orders. I had no choice.”
Oh yes, that was what the Nazis said. It was not a legit argument then and it’s not a legit argument now.
What Israel experienced on October 7th was the equivalent of 9/11 times 50. Israel WILL retaliate accordingly and it will not stop no matter how much you throw your double standard at us.
We not only have every right to do whatever we can to obliterate Hamas, we have a moral obligation to do so.
You might not know this now, but a world without Hamas is a safer world for you and your children.
If you didn’t complain when ISIS was defeated, if you think WWII was justified in order to defeat the Nazis, then you can either stand with Israel while we cleanse the world of Hamas savages or you can go ahead and keep your mouth shut while we do the work from which you will benefit.
If you have any integrity at all, go read the charters of Hamas and the PLO. If you’re honest, ask yourself what “From the river to the sea” means. Look at a map if you can’t figure it out. It means no Israel. Do you support that? Throwing all Israelis into the sea? Because that’s what that means.
If you are still delusional enough to think they want a state, go Google The Partition Plan. They had one. They rejected it. Then google how many times Israel offered them a state.
And if, after all that, you still think the Palestinian’s agenda is anything other than total genocide of the Jewish people, congratulations, you have earned the privilege of being named a flaming antisemite who supports murder and rape.
I’m sure your mother is proud. 🤮
We have proof that Hamas is putting up roadblocks to prevent Palestinian civilians from evacuating from northern to southern Gaza.
Hamas prides itself on putting civilians in harm’s way and is responsible for every civilian casualty.
