My son broke his arm today so I took him out for ice cream and said he could get a LEGO set and we could build it together.
We went to Walmart.
Every single LEGO set, even ones that were $7.99, were locked up behind glass.
We walked down another isle… same thing.
Every single week I have walked in here and more items are locked up behind glass and it takes FOREVER to have anyone help you open something and they make you feel awful for it.
It’s honestly barely worth shopping here at all…
I felt so bad for my kid. We ended up just leaving without a LEGO set.
Whatever we are doing with society that has brought us here… it’s gotta end.
This is insane and it’s destroying childhood.

Meet StackChan, a community-created, open-source AI desktop robot built around the M5Stack CoreS3 and ESP32-S3.
Inside is a 240 MHz dual-core processor with 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM, plus a touchscreen, camera, dual microphones, speaker, 9-axis IMU, proximity sensor, NFC, RGB LEDs, and two feedback servos.
It can talk, react, move its head, show expressions, work as an AI agent, and connect to smart-home or IoT projects.
The best part? You can program and customize it using Arduino, PlatformIO, ESP-IDF, or UiFlow2.

After I broke my gaming laptop in college, I didn’t play vidya for almost 3 years. Finally got a full desktop computer for content creation and downloaded a bunch of the games I’d missed.
Most of them I can’t play for more than an hour at one time, even when I have the spare time. Just doesn’t scratch the same itch anymore
