@Mask4MVS Hi! Under our No Community Quotes policy (Rule 7), please reupload these (and upcoming) posts into a singular thread to avoid unintentional feed clutter. Thank you for your cooperation!
DC Community!
We refined our rules for clarity and added new details regarding enforcement on comics, copyright, and more!
To avoid any misconceptions, visit the About section on our homepage to read the latest changes. For inquiries, message @dccmmunity.
@OnsKun Hi, Oku! Excessive posts in the group within a small timeframe count as spam and creates feed clutter—making it difficult for other fans to quickly access or explore community topics (Rule 7). To avoid flagged posts, please space out your content! Any other questions, DM us!
@DCUAlert Hi, DCU Alert! The image is an illegal screengrab from Superman. DC Studios has recently started to issue strikes on all accounts that violate their film rights. So we're slowly cracking down on these protocols to prevent members or the community itself from getting suspended!
@ericmcclung@grucciflipfl0ps @the_real_seba While that is true, this was specifically because the post shared was being copyright claimed for sharing screen recording images. That is against the rules as we do not allow the sharing of illegal materials.
@Bro0kdale Hi! While we sincerely respect the sentiment, sensitive conversations like these must stay off the feed in alliance of Rule 7. Feel free to repost this as a standard quote on your personal page, thank you for your cooperation!
@CreatureUpdates Hi, CC Updates! Consecutive posts like "Thoughts?" are considered spam, as they don't bring value towards the community and strictly act as self-promotion. We strongly recommend driving original conversations within the group itself.
@fergaliciousJK Hi! We sincerely appreciate the flag, but we'll be hiding this as a safety precaution so it doesn't invite anyone in the replies to ruin the film experience for fans. Thank you for your cooperation!
@WeBuildMechs Hi, the last post was taken down under Rule 7. Please avoid bringing political topics into the community feed. Evading warnings or incompetence to comply with our guidelines will lead to suspension.
@RoyalMaj3sty Hi, Royal! Due to the influx of fan wars & name-calling in the comments, we've taken this post down in precaution of further rule breaks: not because of its context or positive intent!
@Bodhi_Tweets@wiseguy_ocb Please DM this account when you have moderation concerns. When posts are removed, a reason (rule number) is provided with the report.
@Mandevil23 Hi, Mandevil! If you noticed that many of your posts have been removed recently, it's because of our spam rule (#7). Too many posts within a short period creates feed clutter & increases time for others to explore topics/members. Note: Repeated offenses will result in removal.
@Mr_DICK_GRAYSON Hello! We understand the struggle of certain books not being available everywhere, but this post does break our community rules concerning sharing unofficial sources.
@TheJuanSC Hi, please create separate posts for threads instead of starting them with a quote of another post of yours. This evades our No In-Community quotes policy and creates feed clutter. For more details, check out our FAQ:
DC Community FAQ:
• "Can I engage in toxic fan wars and banter in this community?"
No, fans are required to actively treat each other with respect and dignity in every instance (posts, replies, quotes). We are not the main feed. Our goal is to ensure every member feels comfortable sharing their favorite aspects of DC in a healthy manner. If you feel compelled towards toxic behavior, name-calling (ex: Snyderbro, Gunntard), or slurs—your posts will be removed without warning, or your membership will be terminated. | Refer to Civil Dialogue and No Fan Wars (Rules 1 & 7)
• "Am I allowed to post spoilers or leaks about newly-released or upcoming projects?"
The DC Community has a 3-day spoiler ban for theatrical releases during opening weekend. After Monday, 12AM ET, spoilers are permitted on the feed. Shows are excluded from this policy—as all fans have the ability to stream shows at their own discretion. Leaks (specifically images) are prohibited from being uploaded onto the feed. This is in accordance with copyright laws and to protect the community from being flagged or suspended by X (Twitter) or Warner Bros. | Refer to Film, TV, & Game Spoilers (Rule 3), Disclosure, Speculation, Misinformation (Rule 4)
• "Why are harmless posts/quotes deleted randomly?"
This is due to our No Community Quotes & Spam rule. 9 times out of 10, it has nothing to do with post context nor is it a personal attack. Moderators actively monitor the feed throughout the day to remove clutter and other forms of spam. When members create shallow (short) quotes of a rising or intriguing in-community post, it decreases other members' visibility on (and pushes other valuable topics, content down) the feed, increasing time to scroll through or explore the community. If your in-community quote lacks depth or extensive insight (ex: five complete sentences or longer), it will be removed and encouraged to be re-uploaded as a reply. One or two-worded responses or general quick reactionary quotes that can blatantly work as replies will be removed immediately. If a quote successfully hits the pinpoints exampled above, it will remain on the feed. There will be some instances where an admin will kindly give a reminder about this policy, but in most cases there won't be an explanation provided, unless it is messaged to @dccmmunity. | Refer to No Community Quotes (Rule 7)
• "Why am I not getting an explanation about rules I violated?"
Our team attends to over 80,000 people at once on a daily basis and, realistically, we cannot respond to a single person who has a question or an inquiry. Which is why we created an official account (@dccmmunity) that is strictly dedicated to helping out members with any issues, concerns, or inquiries about the community—helping ease stress off our moderators. Each mod has lives, interests, and other obligations outside of the community and should not be pressured with community tasks or harassed every time they log onto X. If you reach out to a moderator inside or outside the community, they are NOT obligated to respond on their personal accounts. If they do, it will always be at their own discretion. Inquiries posted directly in the community feed will be removed immediately to reduce clutter. All requests should always be messaged @dccmmunity; if they are not, they are automatically voided. | Refer to Moderator Action or Warning: Read Description (Rule 9)
• "Where are the rules located?"
The official DC Community guidelines are located in the About tab on our homepage. Scroll down and you will find the complete set. We only have 10 rules, all of which are enforced strictly to ensure the fan experience is thrilling and optimally balanced. If you don't agree with any of the terms listed, you are free to leave the community at your own discretion. Fans who accept our guidelines prior to becoming members or anyone that engages with our posts are explicitly subject to our enforcement. | Refer to Comply with Our Rules (Rule 10)
@Crimeson33 Please keep our Quote Rule (#7) in mind when posting in the community. For more information about this specific guideline, check out our FAQ below:

@drealbolt Please remember that we ask that you put similar posts into a thread. Don't live tweet your movie like you did yesterday or all posts will be removed.
@drealbolt Please limit your posts or it will be considered spam. Also, please review our rules as quoting posts in this manner goes against rule 7. DM this account with any concerns or questions.
