Another notable Real Madrid absence in Mastantuano. But frankly the kid didn't impress. So this was kinda expected.

But I'm excited for the inclusion of his city rival in Giuliano Simeone. The raw energy and hardwork he brings fits LS's style if 2022 is anything to go by.

The biggest area of concern is definitely the midfield. The likes of De Paul aren't the combative players they used to be 4yrs ago, while Enzo and MacAlister have had very shitty seasons with Chelsea and Liverpool respectively. There are also rumours that a few of the players aren't 💯, the most disturbing among whom is the GOAT himself. So frankly, this may be a very tricky one for the Albeceleste.

But yes! Never write off any team that LM10 is playing on. And on this note, I wish them all the luck they need to eliminate Portugal en route to lifting a back to back world cup!

Dear @Cristiano,

Believe me when I say your place amongst the all time greats of the game has long been secured. I doubt if there'll ever be discussions about the beautiful game without the mention of your name. Trust me, this feat is the exclusive reserve of just a handful of players. Moreso, this name you've etched for yourself will remain unshaken even if you never kicked a football in your life again.

But alas! Your growing obsession with achieving milestones is proving a bitter pill to swallow, especially for us admirers. Is it the thousand goal mark that bothers you so? Well I've got news for you. We'd rather you don't hit that mark, than do so in less than ideal circumstances the way you're going about it. You now even meddle with interclub player transfers because you think your team doesn't have what it takes to compete? C'mon man! You have some of the biggest names in world football, seasoned professionals and winners on that team. Surely you don't think this motivates them to leave it all on the pitch in pursuit of glory for you?

You'll probably not appreciate this comparison, but I'd be like Messi in the latter stages of my career if I was you. Just enjoy it man. And let everything else flow naturally. Many have said Messi is the type to quit football on 999 goals. Such is his lack of obsession with numbers and prioritising the game itself. The irony however is that it is him who continues to bag these trophies/awards. I think there's a lesson in there.

I wish you the very best ahead, sir. But if you continue to de mumu laidis, I go laaaaugh you.
