Math and I have never gotten along, but I am a huge fan of video games. Maybe if it was presented to me as a video game I would have enjoyed it. Definitely will have to look into it.

@MaddernBryan @doctor2pi @SarahCeja03 A4) The best activity was in high school. Every Wednesday we would turn in current events. The website Smore in my opinion would be perfect for this! Smore let’s the student create a sort of a newsfeed I think these two go hand by hand. @doctor2pi #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED

I truly agree that Kahoot is an amazing tool. It can show one where the student stands. In this case a student can be quizzed through Kahoot and test their spelling and vocab. A great tool overall!

@Ststansberry @doctor2pi @joceperezCSUB A3) I feel that audiobooks, quizlet, and Kahoot are three great ways to help ELL students. Audiobooks can help students who struggle reading books with their pronunciation. Quizlet can help ELLs study vocab and Kahoot can quiz ELLs on vocab words. #EDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi

@ChristinaVlaho4 @tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns @MaddernBryan I have seen this happened. Especially since COVID, some kids do not struggle since they have the necessary tools at home to thrive. However, some students do not have wifi or a computer to work from home making everything more difficult. #CSUBTED #CSUB4200 @doctor2pi

However, the teacher didn’t make them public until after 2nd period. The first two periods fell behind unlike the rest of her classes. #EDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi

@doctor2pi A1) the biggest innovative tool I have been introduced to has to be Kahoot. Kahoot has made learning fun and competitive. It has helped make learning more engaging, especially for students K-12. #EDTE4200 #CSUBTED

So far learning new ways to introduce technology into classrooms has been amazing! Finding out new ways to communicate with parents and giving parents better insight of what is going on in and during class with ClassDojo is definitely a game changer!
