అంతర్జాతీయ పర్యావరణ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఈరోజు గౌ|| ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ @ncbn గారితో కలిసి వన మహోత్సవ వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొని కోటి మొక్కలు నాటే కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టడం జరిగింది. వచ్చే ఏడాది లోపు ఐదు కోట్ల మొక్కలను రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా నాట్యం సంకల్పంతో రాష్ట్ర అటవీ పర్యావరణ శాఖ పని చేయనుంది. తనకు 14 ఏళ్ల వయసు ఉన్నప్పుడు ఒక పక్షి ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్ధాలు తిని చనిపోవడం చూసి మూడు దశాబ్దాలుగా పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు కృషి చేస్తున్న కొమెర అంకారావు లాంటి పర్యావరణ ప్రేమికుడుని ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా ఆహ్వానించి వారిని కలుసుకోవడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. అలాంటి వ్యక్తిని రాష్ట్ర అటవీశాఖ సలహాదారుగా నియమిస్తూ ఈ వేదిక నుండి ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడం పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు శుభపరిణామం. రానున్న రోజుల్లో రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా 50 శాతానికి పచ్చదనాన్ని పెంచేలాగా, ప్రజలందరినీ పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణలో భాగస్వామ్యం చేసేలాగా, అలాగే నగర వనాల సంఖ్యను పెంచడం, మియావకి అడవుల ఏర్పాటు, కార్చిచ్చుల నిరోధం కోసం, ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్ధాలు నియంత్రణ కోసం రాష్ట్ర అటవీ శాఖ చిత్తశుద్ధితో పని చేయనుంది.
