Dear FIFA,
You gave the World Cup to a country that bombs stadiums, deports referees, detains players, bans fans, and searches athletes with dogs on the tarmac.
You've been very quiet.
We're concerned. Are you okay? Blink twice if you can hear us.
🚨 Joseph Blatter (former FIFA president):
🗣 "No one is more official than the referee, and if a country refuses to allow a referee in, the World Cup should not be held in such a country."
I feel like Sydney’s dad hinted at a bigger plot to steal his car without saying so at the burial. He asked a big question and said. “No one is asking the big question of where is Sydney’s car. Sydney left home with a car”.
I feel he was communicating something without saying it.
If you want to be humbled, start a business! A client has just told me we shouldn’t close at 6pm because is coming at 9pm to buy a packet of Ugx 20,000.
Ladies & Gentlemen, we are open today up to 9pm. You can also come in.
NTV has done justice to the Dr Besigye treason case, the justice he hasn’t found in the @JudiciaryUG in over 570 days.
Listen to 8 minutes of classic journalism with teeth.
Well done, @Solomon_Kaweesa .
Please, these men who attacked Sydney last deserve to be arrested and held accountable. We all need to keep sharing their photos and speaking up before the momentum dies down. Sydney deserves justice. 😩💔🕊️
FIFA rejecting Haiti’s jersey’s for being “too political” while allowing Israel to play, & the US to host World Cup (while denying visas, restricting entrance, banning Iranian players from staying in country) is a selective, targeted invocation of their “neutrality” policies.
For once,let’s snitch together.
Sydney’s killer is out there, probably working nights, thinking we’ll move on. We won’t. Uganda is big, but when we watch together, it gets small fast. Seen him? Heard him? Know the boda? Say something.

A Black man scoring the first goal of the 2026 World Cup to silence the African continent’s most hostile nation towards Black foreigners is absolutely poetic. Thank you, Mexico! 🇲🇽
There’s a class of people in Uganda that seems to be growing by the day. They believe they’re the only ones allowed to be foolish, the only ones allowed to say the most ridiculous things. Even in the most serious moments, they’ll say something completely random, and everyone is expected to let it slide because, apparently, you’ve all allowed them to get away with being stupid.
With the somewhat big audience he has, that man could have called Ugandans to act against mob violence. He could have called for support towards the family & the entire rugby fraternity. He could have contributed to the discussion on change.
He just chose not to.

Am told this guy in black is called Rusoke,

Very serious men😭😭😭😭
Thanks to u guys who made these pics clear, #sydneysjustice

I raised a matter of urgent national importance following the gruesome murder of Sydney Gongodyo by a mob last Friday.
Prayers:
1. That Parliament condemns mob action
2. That Gov’t submits an update & Rapid Response Plan to Parliament
4. Public trial of all suspects
What happened reminded me of one guy I worked with some years back, the guy knocked some people who were on a boda from one of the Bunyoro districts. He attempted to run away (he was in a uniform and was driving a company branded car). He didn't run to any nearest police station, he thought he could drive out of that town but the boda bodas sent words to the nearby trading centers, they set a roadblock in about two trading centers and blocked him, they stoned the car , stoned him to death, burnt him beyond recognition and burnt the car. The people he knocked did not die just sustained a few bruises.
When we went to bury him in Budibugyo, his father never cried (the guy was the breadwinner of their family). When we came back, after three weeks everyone who was involved in the murder of the guy all died mysteriously, till almost an entire sub county was wiped out completely, the elders there had to reach out to our company then to get hold of the relatives of the deceased.
I would love for something similar to happen by the end of next week.
We must push back against the likes of Kasuku. Yesterday, I saw a clip of about 51 seconds. In the same, Kasuku was lamenting Sydeny's passing, but seemed too excited and eager to talk about Sydney's partner and mother of their child in ways that I found shocking. 1/6
Dear ‘scientists’,
when you are fighting for your rights/causes, social science and humanities people often stand with you. Please do the same when it comes to their concerns - not to simply keep quiet or join in dismissing them. That’s the humane thing to do. We all need each other.
My grand mother once told me the spirit of murder is one that will never let you rest and today i have just witnessed it.
You eventually get caught
To the courageous men who put aside all they were doing to locate and trace Obed or whatever that loser calls himself Asante🙏
